The Duchess of Edinburgh celebrated taking an impressive photo yesterday as she took part in a shooting challenge during her five-day solo trip to Canada.
Sophie, 58, was deep in concentration as she attempted to practice at the Winona Rifle Range at the Lake Street Armory Military Barracks in St Catharines on Saturday.
Moments later, she turned on the grass with her arms raised in celebration after taking the photo during a competition organized by the Lincoln and Welland regiment.
The annual competition aims to test physical and mental strength, and those who emerge victorious will receive a trophy – called The Countess of Wessex Cup – presented by the Duchess herself.
The mother of two was dressed for the occasion in a camouflage jacket embroidered with the Canadian flag.

As Armistice Day approaches on November 11, Sophie honors those who fought during the World War by pinning a Remembrance Day poppy to her uniform.
She opted for a practical look and wore her blonde hair away from her face.
Despite this, she didn’t leave out her signature pink, glitzy eyeshadow – which matched her painted nails – and statement mascara.
The Duchess wore simple twisted silver studs and sensible brown military-style boots, which she paired with forest green trousers.
By evening, however, the Duchess had changed into a completely different outfit.
She attended a dinner in support of the Lincoln & Welland Regimental Foundation wearing an elegant silver dress with embroidery detailing on the long sleeves.
Sophie completed the graceful look with a silver clutch, a pair of gray open-toe heels and a poppy pin.

At the event, the mother of two was photographed beaming next to the Honorable Elizabeth Dowdeswell, Lieutenant Governor of Ontario.
The Duchess – who arrived in Canada on Friday – also took part in an ice wine tasting yesterday when she visited a Canadian vineyard.
She spent the start of her Saturday visiting the Inniskillin Winery in Niagara-on-the-Lake, southern Ontario.
Today, the duchess’will attend a memorial service at St Catherine’s Cenotaph, accompanied by the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, before attending a reception to meet soldiers of the Lincoln and Welland Regiment and their families,” according to the Royal website.

And on her last day in Canada, November 8, Sophie will spend three days visiting three UHN locations: Toronto General Hospital, Toronto Western Hospital and Toronto Rehab.
During her visits she will meet people working on the front lines of these organisations, such as healthcare workers, researchers, hospital support workers, volunteers, staff and also visiting patients.
The royal family will “hear more about the latest developments in arthritis, vision and brain research, social medicine and emergency medicine, as well as innovations in cardiovascular care and the latest technologies in physical rehabilitation.”
