However, the duo decided not to entertain the rumors and put an end to them by making statements in their respective Instagram stories.

Shruti posted on her Instagram handle, “So… I am not married. Why would I hide this from someone who has been open about everything? LOL. So people who don’t know me at all, please calm down (sic).”

Shruti Haasan’s friend Santanu Hazarika also made a statement saying, “You guys need to calm down! We are not married! Individuals who don’t know us, please stop spreading rumors (folded hand emoji)(sic).”
