Sister Wives’ Meri Brown tells Kody’s “story” about unloving exes
Meri Brown reveals why Kody Brown seemingly flipping the “story” about how much he loved his ex-wives Sister Wives look back: how it started special.

Meri’s response came in response to seeing an early TLC clip of Kody, 54, expressing his love for her: Janelle Brown, Christine Brown and Robyn, 45, before legally marrying Robyn in 2014.

Discovery(2)“So, did you lie then? Or are you lying now?” asks Meri in the all-new clip. She explains: ‘In recent years he has actually come out of the closet and said he never loved Christine. He told me he was trying to confirm that he loved me. He tried to do his duty.”
Meri further claims, “I think he loved each of us. Personally, I think he’s just trying to make it fit into his story. To justify where he is now.”

Meri’s comments were recorded after she and Kody announced in January that they are no longer in a romantic relationship after more than three decades. She wasn’t the only one of Kody’s ex-wives to weigh in on his comments on season 18 — specifically the moment when he claimed he “chose to love my women” but wasn’t in love with them.
“The man I see in these early clips is who he was. I didn’t feel like I was unloved,” Janelle, 54, says in the teaser.
Christine, 51, agrees with Janelle’s sentiments, adding: ‘I wouldn’t have married him if I didn’t think he loved me. I thought he loved me, and he was in love with me early in our marriage and even at this point when he was courting and dating Robyn. I felt like he loved me.”

Prior to his divorce from Meri, Kody and Christine announced they were divorcing in November 2021. She has since married David Woolleywhich fans will see on TLC during a two-part special beginning in January 2024.
Janelle, meanwhile, confirmed her divorce from the patriarch in December 2022. Robyn is still married to Kody.
