Star Wars: The Mandalorian & Grogu has been greenlit by Disney and Jon Favreau will direct.
The film from the highly popular Disney+ series The Mandalorian is expected to film later this year The Hollywood Reporter.

The Mandalorian had three seasons on Disney+ when it started streaming in November 2019.
When the first season aired, the character then known as Baby Yoda became a global cultural phenomenon.
Pedro Pascal played the titular role as Din Djarin, a warrior who reluctantly cares for Grogu.
The Mandalorian ended its season 2 in April.
