The result of the Strictly Come Dancing Christmas special has been leaked online – weeks before the festive show airs.

The festive episode of the BBC dance show airs on Christmas Day itself and is a much-loved tradition for many.

The special was filmed in Coventry last night, with celebrity contestants Danny Cipriani, Keisha Buchanan, Tillie Amartey, Sally Nugent, Dan Snow and Jamie Borthwick all hit the dance floor.

The show is pre-recorded, so one couple has already lifted the Christmas trophy.

But fans wanting a surprise on December 25 at 6pm when the show is available to stream will be disappointed as the result has already been leaked online.

The special was filmed last night in Coventry, with celebrity contestants Danny Cipriani, Keisha Buchanan, Tillie Amartey, Sally Nugent, Dan Snow and Jamie Borthwick

The infamous Strictly mole managed to get the result from an onlooker, who described the leak as an ‘early Christmas present’.

Some fans were left disappointed, with one commenting: ‘Seriously, can’t you leave it for a few days.’

The Strictly ballroom will be transformed into a winter wonderland in a magical mix of dance, glitter and cheer as six brand new celebrities compete to be crowned Christmas champions.

All four judges from this season will return as Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, Anton Du Beke and Shirley Ballas appear on the panel.

It comes after contestant Danny Cipriani got cozy with his professional partner Jowita Przystal as they filmed the special, just weeks after his split from wife Victoria.

Danny shared a beautiful group photo of all the participants in the show.

He captioned the video on social media: ‘As I tag the names I smile away, watching everyone else smile away in the photo too!! All great people in this picture, and also the crew behind the scenes, who are fantastic to everyone.’

Danny then gave a special mention to Jowita: ‘Special thanks to @jowitaprzystal for always making it fun… Strictly speaking❤️.’

In another image shared to Instagram, the pair were seen cozying up in the dance studio during rehearsals.

Sources claimed the pair could be a ‘sizzling couple’ and will spend many hours together during the two weeks of rehearsals before their performance.

An insider said: ‘BBC bosses must have had some idea they would be a sizzling duo on the dancefloor, but on a personal level they probably didn’t expect them to get so close so quickly.

“They join a long line of stars and professionals who have grown closer as a result of long, intimate sessions in the rehearsal studio.”

Jowita is believed to be single after splitting from Strictly pro Giovanni Pernice earlier this year.

Last year Corrie’s Alexandra Mardell won the festive show with pro Kai Widdrington after achieving a perfect score with their fun Quickstep.

She dressed up as a reindeer, while Kai got into the spirit in a matching Santa suit.

The group performed a sensational routine to a festive medley of Let It Snow, The Nutcracker Suite and Santa Claus is Coming To Town.

And in the main series of Strictly Come Dancing, which has been airing since September, the contestants are currently rehearsing for Saturday’s semi-final.
