And on Strictly Come Dancing on Saturday night, Vito Coppola reignited the speculation with a very pointed comment to his dance partner Ellie Leach.
The Coronation Street star, 22, and the professional dancer, 31, wowed with their killer week 10 routine to Destiny’s Child hit Bills, Bills, Bills.
Speaking to host Claudia Winkleman after their performance, Vito was asked about the amount of control needed for that particular dance.
“So much control, it’s been hard since last week, she was so scattered with everything and this one you have to keep everything in,” Vito explained to Claudia.

Before the dance, Ellie admitted that her confidence has soared since Strictly. She said, “A few weeks ago I would never have been able to do this dance.”
Ellie and her partner looked stunning in a tight scarlet dress with a daring thigh-high slit and only had eyes for each other during the red-hot routine.
At the end of the song, the pair shared a lingering look as they got fans talking with an almost-kiss.
Although viewers were impressed by their incredible chemistry, the judges were left somewhat underwhelmed when Anton admitted he felt the routine ‘lacked intensity’.
Craig added that he felt the dance “lacked intimacy.”
Despite Anton and Craig’s criticism, Motsi Mabuse and Shirley Ballas were impressed enough to give the couple a 10 each, with a total score of 38, putting them at the top of the leaderboard.

On Friday, the pair sent fans wild again when they shared a joint post on Instagram where they posed together for several cozy snaps.
In an instant, Vito wrapped his arms around Ellie and rested his head on hers, holding her face in another hand as he leaned in for a kiss.
Alongside the post, he wrote: ‘Live the present and be grateful for what you have in life. Be happy that you wake up every morning and appreciate the little things. This is what makes real happiness’.
