However, it is understood things got out of hand at Graham’s home in Hawick, Roxburghshire, and police officers had to be sent to the property at around 9pm.

It follows a tumultuous year for Hogg, who divorced his wife Gillian last year and quickly struck up a relationship with former flat jockey and TV presenter Leonna Mayor.

The pair have been seen flaunting their new relationship online by posing for selfies during spa weekends – but it is understood Hogg left his brother’s house without Mrs Mayor following the family breakdown.

Hogg, Scotland’s all-time leading try scorer, announced his retirement from the sport with immediate effect last July amid fitness issues.

His romance with Mayor came just after his wife, Gillian Smith, gave birth to their fourth child in November.

According to reports, Smith is heartbroken by the speed at which Hogg moved on.

His new lover Leonna won 32 races between 2009 and 2013, but retired after an ankle injury.

She was dubbed the ‘sexiest jockey alive’ when she posed in her underwear for a photo shoot in Zoo magazine in 2013.

Since her competitive racing career ended, Leonna has turned to experts, working for the likes of Sky Sports and ITV.
