She’s just like us! Sunrise presenter Natalie Barr reveals her shockingly grubby oven during cooking class

Natalie Barr proved she was just like the rest of us on Thursday when she revealed the state of her oven.

The Sunrise star, 55, shared a video on Instagram of her making a few batches of sausage rolls and some “parmesan potatoes.”

As she opened the oven to show them cooking, viewers got a “great shot” of the horrible mess at the bottom of the appliance.

Big clumps and drips of brown leftovers sat in a drip pan under three racks of food, proving that Natalie was just as lazy with oven maintenance as the rest of us.

The shocking revelation came just moments after the breakfast television co-host revealed her very naughty sausage roll hack.

She said she uses fresh minced sausage in the savory pastries, but instead of getting her hands dirty, she puts her local butcher to work.

“The butcher took the minced meat out of the sausages and gave me a kilo and I just put in a few herbs, salt and pepper and white bread,” she said.

“Add a little sauce and then roll it in the dough and Bob is your uncle.”

She then took viewers through the preparation steps, which included coating the pastries with egg white and prick them with a fork before putting them in the oven.

The Western Australian resident added that the final stage was to initially cook the sausage rolls “a little undercooked” to make sure they were ready to be reheated later.

“Then they’re perfect,” she cheerfully told her followers.
