A home chef who comes by @dollartreedinners often shares the recipes she comes up with using products from her favorite budget store.

And thinking about her Super Bowl party, she created three dips with Dollar Tree ingredients.

The total? Only $20.

She shared the shopping list: two blocks of cream cheese mixture, one block of cheddar, one block of mozzarella, two cans of chicken, canned chili, canned Rotel, parmesan cheese, ranch dressing, Velveeta cheese sauce, Frank's Buffalo sauce and frozen spinach.

“And the $20 price also includes two bags of tortilla chips and a pack of aluminum cans for baking your dips,” she said in the paper. clamp.

Since all the dips are cream cheese based, she cut the two blocks into thirds and divided them among the three dishes.

“[This] keeps costs down,” she said, noting it is cheaper than buying a third block.

She did the same process with the mozzarella and cheddar blocks, cutting each into thirds and shredding the third into bowls.

“I'm going to save the mozzarella cheese for the spinach dip, I'm going to save the cheddar cheese for the chili dip, but then for the buffalo dip I can make a mixture of both cheddar and mozzarella, so I spread them out evenly.”

All three dips start the same: microwave the cream cheese for 15-30 seconds and then froth it up with a spatula.

“I'm definitely doing the same,” people say enthusiastically as Dollar Tree superfan shares a three-course Valentine's Day meal for $15

“With the first dip you get a can of chili, a can of Rotel [drained beforehand]and a pack of Velveeta cheese sauce.

Mix that together, pour it into an aluminum tin and cover with grated cheddar.

For your second dip, add two cans of drained chicken, the bottle of Frank's Buffalo Wing sauce, and half of the bottle of ranch dressing – that's about a cup.

Place that mixture in another tin and brush it with the cheddar and mozzarella mixture.

And finally, for the spinach dip, you'll want to thaw the frozen bag of spinach, drain it, and add it to your cream cheese, along with a whole jar of Parmesan cheese.

Put it in your baking tin and garnish with grated mozzarella.

Bake them together at 400 degrees for 18 minutes, toasting them a bit if you want a brown surface.

As for her favorite? The buffalo chicken took the cake.

“Although I loved all three of those things.”

Viewers appreciated her ideas.

“You are carrying so many of us through the recession and inflation, please keep going,” one person wrote.

“I needed this,” another added.

Since each dip is cream cheese based, they all start with the same step to achieve a smooth texture
