THOMAS TUCHEL remains furious over a Bundesliga rule after it came back to bite Bayern Munich.

The Bavarians lost ground in the title race after a 3-0 defeat against Bayer Leverkusen.

At his post-match press conference, the 50-year-old Tuchel was asked about opening goal scorer Josip Stanisic, who is on loan from Bayern.

And the German boss was furious about the loan rule in Germany, arguing that the way it was implemented in England – where loan players cannot play against those from their parent club – was better.

Tuchel said: “In England there is a nice rule that when you loan a player out, he or she cannot play against you.

“To me that makes more sense. Unfortunately, the rule does not exist in Germany.”

Stanisic, 23, has made 20 appearances for Xabi Alonso's team in all competitions, scoring once and providing three assists.

The Croatian star's opening goal after 18 minutes, when he tapped in Robert Andrich's cross at the far post, was followed by a thumping strike from Alex Grimaldo in the 50th minute.

Jeremy Frimpong then added a decisive third in stoppage time, which led to Leroy Sane smashing a camera into the goal in frustration.

At one point during his press conference, Tuchel also complained about the fact that talisman Harry Kane had remained isolated.

And it showed in the England captain's stats as he had just one shot on target and spent noticeably less time in the penalty area than GOALKEEPER Manuel Neuer, based on their respective heat maps.

Legend Thomas Muller was also angry with the team's tactics in the game.

He said: “There are obviously some symptoms on the pitch. To be honest, I'm devastated.

After goals from on-loan Bayern star Josip Stanisic – which infuriated Thomas Tuchel – and Alex Grimaldo, Bayern were desperate to win the match.

Legendary goalkeeper Manuel Neuer was sent on for a late corner as the Bavarians tried to pull a goal back.

A hairdresser on the receiving end of a cutting comment from Optus’ CEO has revealed she planned to meet him at the store but then failed to show up without explanation.

Kelly Bayer Rosmarin – who resigned suddenly on Monday – insulted North Sydney hairdresser Jake Azar with comments she made during the Optus outage that affected 10 million Australians on November 8.

Mr. Azar was forced to turn away customers and close his business by lunchtime, a decision that cost him hundreds of dollars. Some customers even promised to pay, but then did not return.

Mr Azar spoke to a Channel Nine news reporter about the impact of the outage on his shop, after which Ms Bayer Rosmarin joked: ‘I’m disappointed that a hairdresser couldn’t get a haircut today.

“That seems like one of the few things you can do without connectivity.”

Now Mr Azar has accused Optus of going back on its word after staff promised Ms Bayer Rosmarin would visit his company twice – first on Friday and later on Saturday.

However, she didn’t show up.

Mr. Azar claims that he was approached by the people of Ms. Bayer Rosmarin to make an appointment with him at his barbershop last Friday.

One of her aides then contacted him last Friday to reschedule the appointment for Saturday, when Ms Bayer Rosmarin traveled to Canberra to face a grueling Senate inquiry into the outage.

“She said she would come to the store and apologise,” Mr Azar told Daily Mail Australia.

Mr. Azar said he was thrilled that she planned to visit in person — but she “never kept her promises.”

He was disappointed, but not surprised that he stood up.

The visit was organized in response to her comments about his company, which Mr. Azar described as “a bit rich considering she can’t even do her job.”

“She’s incapable of doing her own job and keeping her word,” he grumbled.

“It would have been fine if she had come in as promised, shook my hand and apologized, but she couldn’t keep her own promises.”

“I would have accepted her apology and forgiven her.”

When asked if he had a message for the outgoing boss, he replied: “Good luck in whatever you do. You’ve lost my trust, you’ve lost my faith… and good luck in whatever you do.”

‘Be a lot more honest and learn from your mistakes.’

Daily Mail Australia has contacted Optus for comment on the hairdresser’s claims.

Mr Azar vowed to switch to Telstra following Ms Bayer Rosmarin’s comments about his company.

“I kept my promise and stayed true to my word,” he said.

“Telstra has been good so far, I can’t complain.”

“I think I should be Telstra’s spokesperson. Telstra: Australia’s choice’.

He also jokingly threw his name into the ring to replace Ms. Bayer Rosmarin.

Mr. Azar has been flooded with overwhelming support after being thrust into the public spotlight.

“All of Australia is on my side,” he said.

‘I’m known as the Optus man. I feel like a superstar!’

Mr. Azar estimates that he lost thousands of dollars the day of the outage and had to close his store at lunch because customers could only pay in cash.

“The Commonwealth ATM around the corner was being renovated and the other nearby was out of order due to the outage,” he said.

‘I had to direct customers to the nearest ATM, which was an eight-minute walk away. Some didn’t come back to pay.’

Mr Azar had this advice for the new Optus boss.

“Tell the truth and don’t lie to people,” he said.

‘People like honesty. After all, honesty is the best policy.”

Ms Bayer Rosmarin issued a statement on Monday morning regarding her dismissal.

“On Friday I had the opportunity to appear before the Senate to elaborate on the cause of the network outage and how Optus recovered and responded,” she said in a statement.

‘Having had time for some personal reflection, I have concluded that my resignation is in the best interests of Optus.

“It has been an honor and privilege to lead the Optus team and serve our customers. I wish everyone and the company every success in the future.’

Ms Bayer Rosmarin was only appointed to the top position on April 1, 2020.

Her husband was seen leaving the family’s $14 million mansion in Vaucluse at around 12.20pm on Monday.

He ignored journalists’ questions and drove loudly down the road in a gray Lexus.

About 18 months after she bought the property, a powerful Optus 5G phone tower was set up right outside the CEO’s $15 million home, Daily Mail Australia can reveal.

The The Optus Small Cell transmitter was installed on a utility pole on the street where Kelly Bayer Rosmarin lives Sydney‘s eastern suburbs in late 2022 in what was once a notorious mobile blackspot.

One technology expert said it was ‘not a good look’ for the transmitter, which provides enhanced mobile coverage to an area of ​​up to 400 meters, to be right outside her home, while others continued to suffer from poor coverage.

A local Optus user – who contacted Daily Mail Australia about the channel – said despite the opulent homes lining the streets, the area has always been a signal black spot.

That is, until Mrs. Bayer Rosmarin, 46, and her husband, Rodney, bought their lavish property.

According to Woollahra Council planning documents, the telephone tower was installed specifically to improve coverage in the area: ‘So residents enjoy a better network experience and higher speeds with 5G.’

When Daily Mail Australia asked Optus whether the CEO had a role in the construction of the tower outside her home, a spokesperson said the unit was part of a two-year plan to “improve” coverage in Sydney’s eastern suburbs.

The spokesperson added that the telco is committed to identifying coverage issues across Australia.

‘This effort includes optimizing existing sites and establishing new ones to ensure higher levels of network performance and coverage in the region.’

Optus Small Cells, as they are known, increase the capacity of 5G and 4G networks and improve coverage in a small area.

The small devices operate at lower power than traditional cell phone stations.

They ensure that residents have fewer outages, better internet access and faster data uploads and downloads. They are often built into existing light or electricity poles.

Tech expert Trevor Long said the location of the phone transmitter was flawed after the telco suffered a massive outage that left 10 million customers without service from 4am to 6.30pm on Wednesday, November 8.

“I don’t think the Optus CEO has won any favors with Australians,” he told Daily Mail Australia.

“The most important thing Optus needs to do now is focus on the customer, and if you build a tower near the CEO’s house then you’re not focusing on the customer.”

The Optus blackout left customers unable to make and receive calls and complete transactions, with Ms Bayer Rosmarin only appearing publicly hours after the drama began, leaving the Communications Minister to the cameras.

On the day of the crisis, Daily Mail Australia revealed that Mrs Bayer Rosmarin’s home was the scene of an extensive photo shoot to promote the house’s architect.

Her husband Rodney was seen directing the stylists, along with one of their daughters and the family dog, a silver-gray Italian greyhound named ‘Vespa’.

Mr Bayer Rosmarin told Daily Mail Australia the photoshoot was ‘unfortunate timing’.

‘They hadn’t gotten around to photographing it yet and today it was done.

He admitted that the network crash had been “hell” for his wife, adding: “Unfortunately that’s the problem with large organizations and modern technology.”

Optus told its unhappy customers on Monday afternoon that the 4.05am outage was caused by a routine software update and that it had taken steps to ‘ensure this does not happen again’.

“We sincerely apologize for letting our customers down and the inconvenience this causes,” the statement said.

The statement said the action caused many routers to automatically disconnect from the Optus IP Core network to protect themselves.

More than 400,000 businesses were affected by Wednesday’s nationwide service outage for up to 12 hours.

North Sydney Barbers manager Jake Azar was forced to turn away customers and close his business by lunchtime, a decision that cost him hundreds of dollars.

Het duurde bijna zeven uur voordat mevrouw Rosmarin zich over de verwoestende storing uitsprak en haar stilte verbrak tijdens een telefoontje via WhatsApp naar het ABC.

Haar familie verhuisde in mei 2021 naar hun Vaucluse-herenhuis van $ 15 miljoen uit de jaren 1920 met uitzicht op de haven van Sydney, nadat ze een kleiner, moderner huis in de buurt hadden verkocht voor $ 7,75 miljoen.

Ze verkochten ook hun tweede huis, een uitgestrekt Rose Manor uit 1915 in Bowral in de NSW Southern Highlands, in augustus vorig jaar voor $ 4 miljoen na een renovatie van $ 400.000.

Het bedrijf wordt nu geconfronteerd met een class action vanwege het datalek.

Boze klanten hebben de online reactie tegen de CEO geleid, waarbij sommigen eisen dat ze aftreedt of wordt ontslagen vanwege dit nieuwe debacle.
