Taking to Instagram Stories, the 34-year-old shared a video of herself lighting a three-wick candle while rocking a new pair of personalized pajamas.

It’s the Pomegranate Noir Luxury Candle from Jo Malone, which will set you back a whopping £370 for a 2kg jar.

“This scent is so nice,” said Paris, from Morecambe, Lancs.

“I think Jo Malone has some of the best fragrances.

“No commercials guys, just what’s burning in my room right now.”

The enormous candle has a burn time of approximately 220 hours and is said to “fill the room with juicy pomegranate and smoky guaiac wood, carried by the warm evening air.”

The pomegranate scent, which has a tart aroma, is also available in a perfume from the iconic British brand.

The fragrance features juicy plum notes that add sweetness and warmth, pepper for a subtle spicy undertone and woody notes for a hint of smokiness.

Luckily for those of us who can’t afford to part with nearly £400 on a candle, there’s a dupe available.

Asda’s Pomegranate Scented Multiwick Candle with Lid is said to be an absolute killer for the scent at just £7.

“Fill your home with the deliciously sweet aroma of pomegranate with this three-wick candle from George Home,” supermarket bosses said.

“Completed with a silver-colored lid, it simply looks elegant in any room.

“It has sensual notes of exotic pomegranate and dark plum, laced with spices.”

According to shoppers, it smells “almost like the real thing” and “it’s super big.”

Many praised the scent’s ability to “linger all day” in any room, beaming that the scent “lingers for hours” after the wick has been blown out.

However, it’s worth noting that the Asda dupe has less burn time at 28 hours with 450g of wax per pot.

In her videoMariah Somah (@somahriah) demonstrated every step of the process.

The TikToker has created a homemade version of the West Elm wood filled candle.

“I upcycled this wooden bowl into a spark plug candle that totally suits my aesthetic,” she told her followers.

Mariah shared her surprise at how “super easy and affordable” the DIY decor was to make.

She started by gathering all the necessary candle making equipment.

For her first step, Mariah melted a bag of wax in a tin over boiling water.

“After I arrange my wicks, I slowly pour the wax into my wooden bowl,” she said.

After waiting several hours for the wax to dry, Mariah cut the fuses.

“[I] just stood back to admire my work,” she said as she showed viewers the finished product.

“I don’t plan on burning this candle because it’s just for aesthetics, but I did.”

Mariah showed off the homemade West Elm candle dupe on the coffee table at her home.

“Even though it has a few imperfections, I just can’t believe I did that,” she told her audience.

Mariah said her homemade candle “provided a luxurious lifestyle, but also DIY.”

Her followers shared their thoughts on the West Elm dupe in the comments section.

“Beautiful! You can get the imperfections out of the wash with a heat gun or hairdryer,” one viewer suggested.

A bargain hunter has shared a home decor secret that helped her save money on Bath and Body Works candles.

She was able to pick up a pack of 3-wicks at Walmart for a fraction of the price.

Jasmine (@jasbadd) shared the brunt of the interior in a TikTok video.

“I thought I would share one of my best-kept secrets with you,” she said.

‘Do you know the Bath and Body Works candles? I have the perfect dupes.”

She showed off an entire aisle of candles during her last trip to Walmart.

“You can go to Walmart and get the Mainstay. Listen, the three fuses. You can get four candles for the price of one Bath and Body Works candle,” she said.

“And they smell really nice.”

She showed off two of her favorite picks: a $4 Juicy Watermelon scent and a $5.97 Raspberry Peach Frose scent.

“Don’t say I never shared that with you,” she joked.

People were a little concerned after she shared her secret.

“Guhhh hush, don’t tell our secret,” one commenter joked.

“I’m sorry buddy. Our sisters had to know,” Jasmin replied.

“I’m a Walmart girl when it comes to candles and wax melts, they smell so good,” another agreed.

MANY households are still facing continued pressure from the high cost of living and are doing their utmost to balance their budgets.

Although bills will drop in April, there are still steps you can take to keep energy costs down and save money.

A simple trick that can help you keep the bills under control requires just a simple household item that you may already have lying around the house.

This is what Dean Taylor, insulation expert and founder of The Loft Boys, says.

He told The Sun: “A really easy way to check for drafts around your windows and doors is to look for ‘leaky’ spots with a candle.

“You can buy candles quite cheaply in the supermarket or online, although you may have a few on hand.

“Ideally, you want a thin, tapered version.”

For example, at Asda you can get a box of 10 tapered candles for £3 and Dunelm sells two tapered candles for 87p.

Before you start, make sure that there are no other drafts that could interfere with operation.

Take a moment to close all windows, vents, and doors in the area.

“Once you have your candle, bring it close to the edges of your windows,” Dean said.

“Start in a corner and slowly move it along the frame. You should watch for changes in the direction or intensity of the flame as this could be a sign of a ‘leaky spot’.

“This is an old trick of the trade that is very effective.”

You can then do the same with your doors.

“If a draft is found, the flame will flicker and bend,” said the energy-saving buzzer.

“In severe cases it can be blown out. Make note of any locations where you notice significant movement, as these are the areas you want to repair.”

The key is to repeat this process throughout your home, as even small leaks can lead to significant energy loss over time.

“Checking for drafts this way can take some time if you do it right, so give yourself plenty of time to do it thoroughly,” says Dean.

“Also, be very careful when using a candle because you want to make sure you don’t burn yourself or catch fire somewhere if there are flames near curtains and furniture.”

Alternatively, another hack involves checking for drafts around windows and doors using toilet paper.

How to fix ‘leaking spots’

Once any leaks have been identified, you can take steps to address them.

“Any draft around doors or windows can be resolved by installing weather stripping or foam insulation,” says Dean.

“With weather stripping, you use a flexible material, such as rubber, foam or vinyl, that you apply to create a good seal. You should be able to purchase these products quite cheaply.

You can get a 3.5 meter roll of Stormguard rubber foam from Dunelm for £6. You can find rolls of foam weatherstripping on Amazon for less than a fiver.

“Make sure the surface is clean and dry before applying the tape,” says the DIY pro. “Measure the space and cut the tape to the correct length before applying it evenly along the window edge and pressing firmly to seal.”

If you have a very drafty window, you may want to consider applying a second layer of tape.

Dean added, “Overlapping the tape can also be helpful to ensure a better seal.”

Another way to deal with drafts is by applying sealant.

“This ‘sealant’ is a filling material that is often applied with a caulking gun,” he says. “It helps you permanently close any gaps.”

At Wickes you can buy a 300ml tube kit from around €1.20.

According to the Energy-saving confidenceBy making your windows and doors draught-free, you can save up to €70 per year on your energy bill.

While you’re at it, why not also look at draught-proofing your floorboards?

Dean has another neat trick to help you find air leaks under your feet.

“We like to use what we call ‘the string test’,” says the insulation enthusiast. “Simply tie a string to a paper clip, feather or other small, light object.

Then slowly move the object along the edges of the floorboards. If there is a draft, you will notice that the string moves in the direction of the draft.”

Although it is possible to use the same candle trick with floorboards, Dean warns that it is not that simple.

“It can be a little trickier to get the right angle on the floorboards without burning your fingers,” he said.

“You’ll probably find that string works better.”

This will cost you next to nothing. At Tesco you can buy a 40 meter ball of rope for €1.35.

“If your floorboards are drafty, you can reapply a sealant, such as caulk,” said the insulation supremo.

“You can also use expanding foam. Make sure you apply it evenly and make sure it dries completely before walking on the floor.

You can buy expanding foam from Screwfix for around £6.

Self-adhesive draft strips can also be installed along the edge of floorboards to help prevent draughts.

Dean added: “Another tip, which may be a bit obvious, is to think about investing in a carpet or thick rug as this soft furnishing can work wonders.

This can sometimes be the simplest solution for drafty floorboards.”

Rugs don’t have to cost a package. At Dunelm you can find rugs from around €15.

Although there is the option to have underfloor heating insulation installed, this will be much more expensive, with bills easily running up to £1,000.

According to Checkatrade, the average cost of floor insulation in the UK is around £6,000.

That said, both this and loft insulation (which can cost up to £100) can be a worthwhile investment if you’re serious about keeping your home warm in winter – saving you both heat and money.

Addressing a press conference at the Khanauri border, farmer leader Sarwan Singh Pandher said the next phase of their protest will be decided after February 29.

Farmers protest: The protesting farmers have decided to suspend their ‘Delhi Chalo’ march till February 29. Farmer organizations Samyukt Kisan Morcha (SKM) and Kisan Mazdoor Morcha (KMM), which are leading the agitation, announced the next move. will be decided on February 29.

Addressing a press conference at Khanauri border, farmer leaders said they will decide their next course of action on February 29 based on their ‘Delhi Chalo’ call. The farmer leaders also announced a candle march on Saturday and burning of Centre’s effigies two days later.

The SKM (non-political) and the (KMM) are at the forefront of the ongoing agitation at the Shambhu and Khanauri border points between Haryana and Punjab over various demands, including a legal guarantee for MSP.

“The next announcement about the agitation will be made on February 29,” KMM leader Sarwan Singh Pandher told the media at the Khanauri border point.

Pandher also announced that they will hold a candle march on February 24 and burn the effigies of the Center on February 26.

On Wednesday, the protesting farmers had suspended the ‘Delhi Chalo’ march for two days after a 21-year-old farmer, Shubhkaran Singh, was killed and around 12 police personnel injured in clashes at the Khanauri border.

No last rites for Shubhkaran until FIR is filed

Earlier in the day, the farmer leaders participating in the ‘Delhi Chalo’ agitation announced that Shubhkaran Singh will not be cremated until the Punjab government registers a case against those responsible for his death.

The development came hours after Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann announced a compensation of Rs 1 crore and a government job for Shubhkaran’s sister.

Subhkaran Singh, a native of Bathinda, died at Khanauri border point on the Punjab-Haryana border on Wednesday amid clashes between Haryana police and farmers from Punjab. The incident took place when the farmers rushed towards the barricades, several layers of which had been erected by the Haryana authorities to prevent farmers from continuing their march, and clashed with the police.

According to the medical superintendent of Rajindra Hospital in Patiala, Subhkaran had a head injury. The autopsy was postponed as the farmers pressed for their demands to be accepted.

Speaking to reporters in Patiala, Pandher said the Punjab Chief Minister had claimed that strict action would be taken against those responsible for Shubhkaran’s death. But now officials say this was not possible, Kisan Mazdoor Morcha leader said.

“We told the family (Shubhkaran) that it could take two or 10 days. Money is not important to us. We demand that an FIR be filed and the cremation take place,” he said, accusing Punjab government officials of “pressuring” Shubhkaran’s family to agree to the cremation.

Peasant protest

Thousands of farmers are camping in Khanauri and Shambhu with their tractor trailers and trucks, agitating for their demands, including a legal guarantee for minimum support price (MSP) for crops and farm debt waiver.

The farmers of Punjab are also demanding implementation of Swaminathan Commission recommendations, pension for farmers and agricultural laborers, no increase in electricity tariff, withdrawal of police cases and “justice” for the victims of the 2021 Lakhimpur Kheri violence, restoration of the land acquisition. Act, 2013, and compensation to the families of the farmers who died during an earlier unrest in 2020-2021.

Brand new summer scents have hit Asda shelves just in time for the warmer months.

The supermarket giant, known for its bargains, has introduced a range of large candles that resemble a much-loved and much more expensive brand.

Pacific Wax Co, available at most stores, is available in a variety of fruity scents.

One shopper took to Facebook to share the two 'beautiful' candles she brought home this week.

Judith Vincent bought a large 'Limoncello Sorbet' and 'Celebration'.

She said: “[These were] €3.50 each. Big candles [in] Asda.

“[I’ve] Tried lemon and it smells wonderful.”

One person commented that she couldn't agree more and that the candles were beautiful.

The same size Yankee Candle usually costs £30, saving customers a whopping £26.50.

Smaller versions of the brand are available for around £2.

Asda also sells wax melts from Pacific Wax Co for just £1.50.

It comes after one savvy shopper found the 'bargain of the century' in store this week.

Mum Charlotte Quinn found a 32-piece gray cutlery set – including tray – for just 60 cents.

She warned others online, writing: 'As a mother of five I'm always short of cutlery, I'm sure they eat yoghurt and throw their spoons in the bin.

“Anyway, I was looking for new cutlery and saw this on the shelf with a price tag of €12 to €6. I thought I'd buy one for the price.”

But Charlotte then shared: “I scanned through at 60 cents so I went back for another.”

What should have cost Charlotte £24 for two 36-piece cutlery sets actually cost her just £1.20.

An ALDI dupe of a luxury Neom candle has sent shoppers across Britain shopping for a buzzy, £40 cheaper price than its posh equivalent.

The candle comes with a hidden bonus functions the users can't get enough of it.

Facebook page Extreme Bargains UK shared the good news news with his 41,000 followers, along with a photo of a candle dripping wax onto the palm of a hand.

It said: “Aldi is selling a candle that can also be used for massages for just £4.99.”

The “dupe” is very similar to Neom's “true luxury treatment candle for sensitive skin”, which is priced online at £46.

Both are made from candle wax that can be melted and dripped over a person's body and used as a massage oil.

The candle must be lit and the wax liquefied for some time before the user can blow out the flame and pour the oil.

Neom's version of the candle is immensely popular and has received rave reviews from those who have tried it.

One person wrote online that it was “the perfect gift”, adding: “It smells absolutely wonderful and feels even better on the skin”.

This isn't the first time Aldi has produced a candle similar to those already released by a luxury brand – for a fraction of the price.

A customer recently revealed that the supermarket was selling a candle with a scent very similar to Lush's popular Snow Fairy candle, which people say smells like cotton candy.

The TikTok creator said in a video: “POV you run to Aldi to get the Snow Fairy candle dupe.”

Lush's Snow Fairy range has soared in popularity over the years and the brand has expanded its collection to include a candle scent.

Buying the product with four wicks costs £36, but the Aldi version is much more affordable at £4.99.

Aldi also released an XXL Christmas candle that some compared to a candle from The White Company.

Measuring 23 x 23 x 12.5cm, the giant candle can burn for up to 200 hours and is said to “fill your room with wonderful, relaxing scents”.

It has six wicks and “will instantly change the mood of any room, while also serving as a beautiful table centerpiece.”

The best part? It costs £24.99 instead of The White Company's £95 luxury version.

If the smell of freshly baked pastries is more your thing, Aldi's “dupe” of Overrose candles — which sells a range of candles inspired by pain au chocolat, croissants and other pastries — might be for you.

Each of Overrose's candles comes in a pastel colored jar and gives off a lovely aroma – although the £46 price tag can sour the taste.

One smart shopper, TikTok user @AshleighMoneySaverspotted the “dupe” in Aldi and shared her find with her followers.

She said in a video: “Guys, I found the best Overrose candle dupes.

“Now the Overrose ones are £46 but they're going to Aldi because they have dupes for £3.99.”

According to Ashleigh, Aldi's versions smell “just as good, if not better”.
