A FORMER Chelsea star has filed for divorce – after DNA tests revealed his two children were fathered by his wife’s ex.

Midfielder Geremi, 45, said the couple’s twins were born after wife Laure had an affair.

Court documents in his native Cameroon say she “destroyed the harmony” of their marriage through her despicable behavior.

They also call her ‘repeated lies’ and add: ‘No children were born from this marriage.

She claimed that the twins born in June 2008 – four years before the couple’s wedding – were his, which motivated them to get married.

“But discovering that the children were from her previous partner destroyed the couple’s harmony.

“It gave him a huge emotional shock.”

He also said his wife had damaged him psychologically.

Cameroonian star Geremi played 109 games for Chelsea between 2003 and 2007 and scored four goals.

Geremi played for Real Madrid between 1999 and 2003.

He won La Liga and the Champions League twice.

Geremi also previously played for Newcastle.

At first there is only a fleeting glimpse as someone breaks cover.

A little later it is a whole family. And suddenly, with cries of delight from our children, we are in the middle of the great migration.

Kenya is known for the annual migration of wildebeest and zebras from the Serengeti to the lush grasses of the Masai Mara, avoiding lions and crocodiles altogether.

But we don’t watch that show. We are near a Kenyan beach and see an equally spectacular migration of humpback whales that travel from Antarctica to the Indian Ocean every summer.

Along the way they skirt the Kenyan coastline at Watamu – and are just one of the attractions in this enchanting seaside town.

For many, Kenya is all about going on a safari. Yet the Kenyan coast is much more beautiful, accessible – and affordable – than I thought. It is also ideal for summer holidays, because it is a quiet season here with wonderful temperatures.

So first look further south before paying peak prices in a European hotspot.

The East African country is more of a trek than Spain, but many of the eight-hour direct flights to the capital Nairobi take place at night, there’s no jet lag and there are plenty of connections to the coast at Malindi or Mombasa.

We chose a week in Watamu, where the days were sultry and the evenings wonderfully cool.

From sunrise to sunset we had the full tropical sandy beach experience, jumping from glass bottom boats over a coral reef and laying on the sand eating freshly cut coconut.

While the coastal town of Watamu, just 13 miles from Malindi airport, was far from empty, it was also far from full.

My wife and I, plus our three children (aged 16, 14 and 11) stayed in Hemingways – a beautiful, low-rise apartment with a huge pool above the beach.

It’s five-star luxury at a European four-star price.

Our ocean view apartment had two spacious bedrooms and a huge living room, both with views of the Indian Ocean and access to a balcony that ran the length of our suite.

Two large bathrooms and a large kitchen are located inland. Not that we were cooking.

Hemingways’ restaurant serves a full brunch-style breakfast every morning. Every evening we had the choice of a buffet or an a la carte menu.

Outside, chefs were busy preparing curries or tossing steaks, snapper and stir-fries over fire pits.

Often at lunch we would grab a few tuk tuks and head to the bazaars and restaurants of central Watamu.

This place is steeped in Swahili history with its Gede ruins. There are also Indian, Arabic and Italian influences. Browse the stalls to find a famous kikoy sarong.

Just before sunset, head to Mida Creek, which flows into a huge inland lagoon.

There you can sit in a bar on stilts above the water with a cocktail and watch the sun set over the dhows and mangroves.

An unexpected highlight was Watamu Snake Farm, a sanctuary for some of the world’s deadliest specimens, including puff adders and spitting cobras.

Be there at 11am when the venom is ‘milked’ into serum to treat bites that kill up to 1,000 Kenyans every year.

Another popular spot is the Watamu Turtle Watch Marine Information Center. The area is a breeding ground for endangered sea turtles and when fishermen catch one in nets, they bring it here.

Because Watamu is located in a UNESCO-protected marine reserve, it is not teeming with pedal boats, jet skis and disco boats.

You need a day ticket to enter the reserve in a licensed glass-bottom tourist boat. It costs £12 for a day ticket (£10 for a child) plus the boat ticket.

A skipper takes you to a coral reef. All boats have free snorkel sets and life jackets. You can sunbathe on board or jump in to view the marine life.

My fate followed a stingray – at a distance.

The highlight was the afternoon on a Hemingways sports boat, following the great whale migration. It costs £80 each for a four-hour journey (including drinks and food).

Soon we saw a cloud of mist coming from a whale’s blowhole. Then the humpback whales appeared, slapping the water with their tails.

Suddenly a mother with a calf came up, followed by three relatives, so close that we could hear them snorting.

On the way back, our skipper Alfred set out fishing lines. I reeled in as many as a sailfish as long as I had a three-foot spike on its bill. It took three of us to reel it in, hold it for a photo, and then remove the hook. Then we threw it back.

What a day. What a week.

Finding your way will become a lot easier thanks to an upcoming change to Google Maps.

Users have noticed a small but potentially important new feature in the popular app used by millions.

Many of us rely on Google Maps not only to get from A to B, but also to find shops, restaurants and attractions nearby.

One particular problem you may encounter when trying to reach these places is finding the right entrance, especially at larger locations.

Well, that problem could be a thing of the past according to leaked screenshots.

Smartphone nerds discovered the feature tucked away in a test version of the app.

It shows two brand new icons that clearly indicate the entrances and exits of a building.

Apparently the useful symbols only appear when you have selected a place on the map and zoomed in enough.

Android Policewho discovered the feature says it worked in places like hotels, supermarkets and doctor’s offices in New York City, Las Vegas, San Francisco and the German capital Berlin – but only in “some” buildings, suggesting Google is still working to the option.

They also claim that some access icons were not in the right place.

So it’s clearly still in its early stages, but at some point, when Google has refined the idea, the new markers could save people a lot of time looking for the right entrance to a building.

“This will be so useful in big cities,” wrote one user on Reddit.

“I’ve had it for a few days now and that’s a little feature that doesn’t seem like much but is extremely useful,” wrote another.

A third added: “Not surprised at all as Google Maps has been asking if you can find the entrance for years.”

It’s not clear when – or even if – Google plans to make the feature official.

So it's worth being very liberal with it the games that your wish list.

Another said: “It's great, isn't it? That's why I use my wish list all the time now.”

One added: “I've been reading a lot of stuff on PlayStation lately as I just got one and this was one of the best tips.”

To add a PS5 game to your wishlist, you can simply press the heart icon in the PlayStation online store or app while viewing a game.

You can then use the heart icon in the store's main menu to view the wishlist.

Notifications come via the PS5, but also on your iPhone or Android if you use the app.

Remember, the more games you add to your wishlist, the more likely you are to snag a deal for yourself and save some money.

SHOPPERS have spotted a new 'mystery' Fanta flavor on shelves – but fans are divided.

The Coca-Cola brand unveiled a new purple colored carbonated drink as part of this year's #WhatTheFanta.

And a soft drink fanatic shared a photo of the new drink on the Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK.

They said you can buy eight cans of Strawberry Cheesecake flavor without sugar from Heron Foods in Crossgates, Leeds.

And fellow bargain hunters were quick to comment on the after – however, some were not convinced by the new flavor.

One said: “I just like them poured into white wine to make a spritzer/cocktail.”

Another commented: “It's awful. Myself and my three kids tried it and none of us could drink it. It's so sweet.”

A third wondered: “It feels like there's no mystery; they all have this flavour.”

A fourth wrote: “It's rank. I bought 2x24x330ml cans and I absolutely hate it.”

It comes after Fanta launched Raspberry Zero Sugar flavor in 2020 and Fanta Zero Strawberry and Kiwi in 2022.

Last year it also unveiled Fanta Zero Watermelon.

Drinks giant Coca-Cola also increased the price of a 2-liter bottle of Fanta by 19 cents, according to the newspaper. Trolley's food price index.

In March 2022, a 2-litre bottle of Fanta Orange cost an average of £1.92, but a bottle will now cost you around £2.11, the data shows.

This is an average increase of approximately 9.9 percent, despite the recipe remaining unchanged.

In the meantime, Marks and Spencer has launched its own soft drink brand with retro styling on the can and retro flavors such as cream soda.

Costa has also launched a winter menu of food and drinks, including a thick milkshake, but heated up.

They are available in three different flavors: white chocolate and strawberry, salted caramel coffee and chocolate hazel.

Tango will release Raspberry Blast and Cherry Blast flavors, the two flavors in the Ice Blast slushy.

Fans can also get an alcoholic Tango Ice Blast cocktail, but this is only available in one UK bar.

In addition, Vimto Discovery Zero will release new flavors with a passion fruit and lychee and a mango and dragon fruit flavor.

The simple upgrades are easy to overlook, but can make a big difference once you get into the habit of using them.

App Stack Gestures

If you're dragging apps individually to move them on (and between) your home screens, you're doing it wrong.

It is possible to move multiple apps at the same time.

Just hold an app until it wiggles and then move it into place.

Next oneUse another finger to tap a second app while still holding the first – and they stack on top of each other.

You can keep adding apps to this stack so you can move and drop them all at once.

This trick also works with images in you Apple Photos app: Try tapping a few photos, stacking them on top of each other, then dragging them into an iMessage conversation.

Swipe three times to undo

There is a quick way to undo and redo actions on iPhone.

Let's say you typed something in the Notes app that you're not happy with.

Simply place three fingers on your screen and swipe left very quickly to undo the action.

And if you want to perform the action again, swipe right with three fingers.

Keyboard cursor

Sometimes it can be difficult to place the cursor on text when using iPhone.

This is especially true if you try to place the cursor in the middle of a word.

But if you hold your finger on the space bar, your keyboard turns into a trackpad.

You can then drag your finger across this trackpad to place the cursor exactly where you want.

'123' drag trick

There's another trick that lets you drag on the keyboard, which will help you type faster.

Normally, when typing a number, you tap the 123 on the keyboard, then choose a number, then tap ABC to return to the letters.

But there is a better way if you just type one number.

Just press the 123 icon and immediately drag your finger upwards.

Once your finger is placed over your chosen number, release your finger.

This will type that number and immediately return to the letters.

Text replacement

Another great way to speed up typing is to use text replacement.

This is a built-in iPhone feature that lets you create shortcuts for long words, phrases, or generally large chunks of text.

For example, you can set it so that @@ is converted to an email address.

Or typing aaa may change to your home address.

To set up some text replacements, go to Settings > General > Keyboard > Text Replacement.

IF you've scrolled through Shein, you've probably seen your fair share of questionable Photoshopping and plenty of awkwardly cropped photos.

However, one influencer has slammed the fashion brand after spotting the brand's latest blunder.

The fast fashion brand has become the go-to destination for cheap clothing, with influencers making mega broadcasts with endless items on Tiktok.

While shoppers may be flocking to the app, Shein was called out in a recent ad for over-editing photos of a model.

The promo photo, which was originally posted to Facebook, showed a beautiful blonde model posing in a figure-hugging bodycon dress.

Standing in front of a mirror, the ombre dress perfectly flattered her slim figure and even featured a thigh slit.

It's easy to see why shoppers would want to recreate the look, especially after seeing it with black knee-high boots, sunglasses and a matching handbag.

Although the model looked beautiful in the sponsored post, it didn't take long before people started noticing something strange about the image.

In the reflection behind her, the model's figure looked noticeably rounder compared to the woman standing in front of the mirror.

Even more shocking, Shein's website featured a heavily edited image of the young woman, with her reflection looking much thinner compared to the original ad.

After discovering the Photoshop blunder, it didn't take long for people to start criticizing the fast fashion brand for its unrealistic beauty standards.

This included body-positivity influencer Danae Mercer, who even took to Instagram this week over the Photoshop fail.

The influencer posted a photo of the unedited image to her stories, emphatically writing, “When the clothing site forgets to edit the mirror… (and she looked great to boot!)”

It wasn't just the content creator's 2.3 million fans who cried over the poorly edited image, Reddit users also commented on it.

One unimpressed user wrote on the Instagram Reality subreddit: “This clothing site forgot to edit its Facebook ad, but remembered to edit the website's appearance.”

Others wondered why Shein felt the need to heavily edit the model's photos, with many saying they preferred her unaltered figure.

“I would be more inclined to visit this website and consider buying the dress if they posted what it looks like on the woman in the mirror, instead of an edited physique model,” another argued in the thread, where many agreed.

“Her figure in the mirror is real Nice also. I'm more inclined to do that, but from brands that show different body types,” a third added.

While many have seen the funny side of Photoshop fail, heavily edited images like these can have a damaging and final effect on our minds.

In fact, research from the government found that 35 percent of adults have felt shame or had mental health problems health body image issues – showing how much influence these images can have on us.

Concern over the issue has grown so high that the UK Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) banned influencers from using 'misleading' filters on beauty ads in 2021.

With everyone spending more and more time on social media, let's hope we see more natural bodies in the near future future.

This is the heartwarming moment a dad burst into tears after discovering his daughter had won the lead role of Matilda in an upcoming theater production.

Jack Sackman, 31, and Lola, 9, were given a surprise visit to their Portsmouth home by Performers Theater Company musical director Sam Gibbs, 29, who told them the exciting news – that Lola would be playing the role of Matilda.

Matilda tells the fictional story of Matilda Wormwood – made famous by Mara Wilson in the 1996 film – a genius forced to put up with uninvolved parents and an evil principal named Agatha Trunchbull.

Soon, Matilda discovers her power of telekinesis and uses it for the greater good, including defending herself against her family and Trunchbull's wrath.

Dad Jack couldn't believe his eyes and ears and was absolutely thrilled when he heard his daughter had been cast in her very first leading role.

Although this was Lola's first ever audition, Jack said she had “worked so hard” and practiced “for ages” for this opportunity.

Recalling the incredible moment, he said: 'She worked so hard and I've never seen her do so much. I was in pieces. I cried all weekend.”

'My mother went crazy. My sister cried. Because Lola is the first grandchild on my side of the family, which is a very big family, everyone was very invested in the audition. It's typical Lola. She always manages to pull it out of the bag.'

After a great audition, Sam, from Waterlooville, Hampshire, decided to surprise Lola with the role of Matilda by coming to her house with the news.

Lola was relaxing at home when she heard a knock on the door, and was immediately shocked to see Sam on her doorstep, accompanied by his mother, Angie Gibbs.

After hearing the news that she would be playing the role of Matilda, Lola was in awe and once she hugged Sam and her emotional father, she too began to burst into tears.

In the video, father and daughter embrace repeatedly before Jack plants a sweet kiss on her forehead. He beams, “That's all your hard work, honey.”

Lola said of the moment: 'I'm very excited. This is the first time I'm getting a lead role in a show. We practiced for ages for the audition.

'I couldn't find the words. All I could say was “thank you, thank you, thank you”. I told my friends and they said no way! They keep telling me, “I saw you on TikTok, I saw you got the role of Matilda!”

After looking for a new hobby, Lola and her family decided she would give theater a try and for her very first audition, she decided to go for the role of Matilda – which she got.

Now Lola must prepare for the show in May 2024 by attending weekly practice sessions and practicing her songs and lines at home.

However, Sam – the director of the Performers Theater Company in Havant – said starring in Matilda is no easy task.

He added that Lola would have to perfect the “hugely technical role” and that she is expected to lead a cast of more than 50 other children.

Yet the expert remains impressed by her talent: 'Her diction and pronunciation were exceptional. She encapsulated the role of Matilda.

“It was overwhelming to see Lola's reaction to earning the role of Matilda. So much emotion and excitement all wrapped into one. From her reaction we knew she wanted the role. Lola will absolutely crush the role.”

Despite the responsibility of the role, Lola is still confident that she will do well in the production.

Her mother has even called for another night of performances due to the family's excitement over the production.

She said: 'We had already predicted to Sam that they would probably have to do another night because so many people would have come just to see Lola.'
