Love Island’s Ella Thomas risked an awkward encounter with her ex-boyfriend Tyrique Hyde at the Bacardi Rum x Move Good BRITs afterparty at The Brewery in London on Saturday.

The Scottish model, 23, showed off her stunning figure in a black satin and lace mini dress as she posed with pal Yvonne Victoria.

Meanwhile, footballer Tyrique, 24, cut a stylish figure in khaki cargo trousers, a white T-shirt and trainers.

They were joined by fellow Love Island stars Chloe Burrows, Danica Taylor and Samira Mighty, as well as host Maya Jama.

AJ Odudu, Giggs, Aitch and Ella Eyre were also at the party, hosted by Capital Xtra DJ Manny Norte.

Last week, MailOnline revealed that Ella and Tyrique have split after six months together.

Ella unfollowed Tyrique on Instagram, and he did the same: the exes deleted all traces of each other from the platform.

It comes just 11 days after the pair celebrated Valentine’s Day together and Tyrique treated Ella to a Louis Vuitton bag worth £1,200 as well as a romantic meal and hotel stay, decorating the room with love heart-shaped balloons.

Ella and Tyrique met in a nightclub before starring on Love Island together last summer, but they soon developed feelings for each other in the villa.

MailOnline reported in November that their romance was ‘hanging by a thread’ and that they had even secretly split before giving their relationship one last chance.

A source told MailOnline: ‘Ella and Tyrique have decided it’s time to go their separate ways.

‘They love each other so much but they often struggle to get along and as viewers saw in the villa they were always arguing.

“This time things didn’t end well… and they both deleted all recent photos of each other from their respective Instagram profiles, as well as all Snapchat content.

“They also unfollowed each other… it definitely feels like this breakup is final.”

Ella and Tyrique came third on the latest summer series of Love Island, losing out in the top two positions to runners-up Whitney Adebayo and Lochan Nowacki and winners Jess Harding and Sammy Root.

Their split means Whitney and Lochan are the only couple from the top three still together after Jess and Sammy ended their romance shortly after winning the £50,000 cash prize.

During their time on the show, Ella and Tyrique often argued, but their feelings for each other prevailed.

MailOnline has reached out to Ella and Tyrique’s representatives for comment.

Their romance was shaken again during Casa Amor’s loyalty test when Ella chose to recouple with Ouzy See, which shook Ty’s pride.

In November, MailOnline revealed that problems in the couple’s relationship caused them to pull out of attending ITV’s annual Palooza at the last minute, but sources said at the time that they were still trying to get their romance back on track.

Ella has achieved success since finding fame on the show, with her fanbase reaching one million followers.

She also signed a lucrative ambassador deal with PrettyLittleThing, directing her own collections and shooting in Los Angeles for the brand.

The on-and-off couple appeared to be settling down after moving in together and buying their dog Oliver.

Ola and James Jordan have revealed their daughter Ella is 'back in hospital' after being diagnosed with a heart murmur.

The former Strictly Come Dancing star's daughter was rushed to A&E in December and was later diagnosed with pneumonia and tonsillitis.

And in a new update on Sunday, James, 45, shared a photo of the toddler wrapped in a green blanket looking sad on her hospital bed.

He captioned the Instagram post: “Back at the hospital with my baby girl.”

Another image showed Ola, 41, giving her a big hug as they waited for further help.

In a video he told his followers: 'So we all had a really nice evening last night. We took Ella to the hospital because her cough was so bad. Maybe I'll post a video after this to show you how horrible it was.

“Anyway, we got to the hospital and they were absolutely amazing. The nurses were so kind to her again and the doctor was fantastic.

'Apparently she has croup. They gave her a steroid called Dexamethasone, which helped, but this morning she woke up again at nine o'clock – we didn't get home until 3:30 – and she woke up and was horrible again.

“We gave her some more that they gave us to take with us, but unfortunately it doesn't seem like we can recover it at the moment.”

It comes after Ola and James Jordan revealed their daughter Ella was diagnosed with a heart murmur as they shared a health update on the three-year-old.

In conversation with Hello! for the first time about her condition, the couple said it appears her illness before Christmas was related to her heart problem.

During the interview, the parents revealed that they had learned about Ella's heart condition a few years ago.

They explained how they were told she may have a small hole in her heart, but nothing could be done until she was “older and stronger.”

However, they also released a positive update, with James, 45, sharing that Ella is now “about 85 percent better.”

“Ella was first diagnosed with a heart murmur a few years ago,” Ola, 41, revealed to the outlet.

“Just before her second birthday, a doctor said, 'I'm not sure about her heart; there is a small hole that needs to be checked by another doctor. ''

James added: 'We were told that if she has a hole in her heart there is nothing they can do until she is older and stronger, so they suggested we wait.'

The family will know more at a follow-up appointment next month, but James said it would be a 'massive operation'.

But it seems the youngster is on the mend as James said that although her energy levels are low, she is getting better.

“I took her to an indoor play center the other day,” he said. “That's the first time she's done anything energetic since she had pneumonia, and she got six of them.”

'You can see that her energy is not completely back yet, but she is getting there.'

In December, James revealed that Ella, who turns four next month, was rushed to hospital when she developed an “extremely high fever” after initially being told by a doctor that their daughter had a simple viral infection.

They felt the problem was more serious, but followed the doctor's advice to continue giving her Ibuprofen.

However, Ella's condition did not improve over the next two days and so they took her back to A&E where they were met by 'caring' nurses and an 'attentive' doctor.

James shared several photos of Ella in hospital and wrote: 'My little warrior!! We are still at Pembury Hospital but she has finally turned the corner after 5 days and long nights of battling an extremely high fever.

'It started on Monday but on Wednesday night it got quite bad and the temperature was 40+ so they took her to A and E around midnight where a doctor had a quick look at her and said it was a viral infection and told us we had to continue with Calpol/Ibuprofen and take her home and it would run its course.

'I've tried to say it looks more like a respiratory infection than a viral infection, but I'm not the expert. He also told us it wasn't because he listened to her breast.

'After we got her home, we kept a log of every time we gave her alternating Calpol and then Ibuprofen (2 hours apart). After two more horrible nights where her temperature stayed around 39 – 40 and she vomited several times in her sleep.”

After returning to the emergency room, James and Ola discovered that Ella was actually suffering from a respiratory infection and tonsillitis.

'And even though we felt like we might be wasting the doctors and nurses' time and looking like overprotective parents, we decided to take her back to A and E.

'GOOD!! What a completely different experience – we were met by caring and fun nurses who were 100% attentive and by a doctor who was so thorough and left nothing to chance.

'Ella clearly didn't look well and was sent straight to the X-ray department – and had blood drawn almost immediately by a totally amazing team of nurses who I thank so much.

“The results came back because she had a respiratory infection and tonsillitis.”

Two days later the couple said they would likely miss the final of Strictly Come Dancing as Ella was still in hospital.

James, who appeared on the series as a professional between 2006 and 2013, wrote on Twitter: 'Hi guys, not sure if we'll get home in time to watch Strictly LIVE which is a shame but we're still in the hospital with Ella'.

He then explained how her condition was thankfully improving, saying: 'She's doing much better and slowly recovering, lots of daddy cuddles when we get home.'

Later, Ola, who also danced in the show between 2006 and 2015, took to Instagram to pay tribute to show finalists Ellie Leach, Layton Williams and Bobby Brazier.

Writing: 'Good luck to all the couples for the Strictly Final tonight. Here's a photo of me and Chris winning in 2009 (when Strictly was in black and white, feels like a lifetime ago).

“It was a magical feeling to know that you all voted for us and that we were the people's champions.”

She continued: 'That's what I love about Strictly – it's not always the best dancers who win, but the ones the audience fell in love with the most or made the most progress during the series.

“I'm so excited for them all and can't wait to catch up and check it out soon, Keep Dancing.”

A passionate nurse is threatening legal action after she was fired this week for refusing to get a Covid jab in 2021 – even though the health worker mandate was withdrawn in September 2023.

Ella Leach, 29, secretary of the Nurses Professional Association QLD, last weekend sued Children’s Health Queensland over her ‘unfair dismissal’.

The seven-month pregnant mother-to-be is also demanding an apology from Industrial Relations Minister Grace Grace for making “misleading” comments about her case.

Ms Leach claims that by firing more than 1,200 nurses in a similar position, the State Government is “just trying to prove a point” amid a healthcare workforce shortage.

Ms Grace had said there were “specific circumstances” behind Ms Leach’s dismissal when asked about the decision to sack her.

However, according to Ms Leach, the only allegation in her resignation letter related to her refusal to comply with the vaccine mandate.

“Ms. Grace has my permission to elaborate further on the ‘specific circumstances’ surrounding my case,” she said told the Courier Post.

“Given that another pregnant nurse was fired from Queensland Health two days after me, I know this is not an isolated incident.”

The minister had previously said there was “more” to Ms Leach’s case than met the eye, but that she could not release additional details due to privacy concerns.

“It’s very difficult to comment on an individual case, but I think there is more to this case,” Ms Grace said.

‘We are doing everything we can to recruit healthcare workers, but it is clear that when directions are given, we expect them to be followed.’

In a letter to the minister, Ms Leach wrote that she had “waived any right to privacy” and was “eager” to understand the circumstances Ms Grace referred to.

“I have yet to receive any further information…other than what was in my resignation letter,” Ms Leach wrote.

‘Otherwise I would like to receive an apology from you for portraying my circumstances of dismissal as something other than what they were: a pregnant Queensland Health nurse being dismissed for disobeying a healthcare employment directive who is no longer is strength.’

Daily Mail Australia has contacted Ms Grace’s office and Queensland Health for comment.

Mrs Leach worked as a nurse for seven years and had experience in neurosurgery, neurology, orthopedics, medicine and oncology.

Before the pandemic, she had never been subject to disciplinary processes or management intervention.

Speaking to Sky News Australia on Tuesday, Ms Leach said the tragedy had taken her attention away from her pregnancy.

“I should be focusing on the joys of becoming a mother, but that’s been overshadowed by this whole process,” she said.

In September 2021, all Queensland Health staff working in facilities where healthcare was provided were told to be vaccinated against Covid, but this guidance was withdrawn in September 2023 by new director-general Michael Walsh.

“There is no sensible reason why they should go ahead with this action,” Ms Leach said.

‘We know our hospitals are crying out for staff. We see ambulances driving outside hospitals, people dying in ambulances, our rural areas suffering.”

Ms Leach said she was one of at least 50 employees she knew who had been made redundant since September 25 last year.

Children’s Health Queensland said in a statement that it is “unable to comment publicly on the employment situation, including disciplinary actions, of individual staff.”

“Employee disciplinary matters are handled on a case-by-case basis and governed by robust and fair processes.”

Ms Leach said she was aware that some staff had been told they could reapply for their old jobs.

‘In my role as secretary I have seen hundreds of letters sent to staff on this issue.’

“They say they are on a case by case basis, but they are template letters and they insert what you wrote back to them and say, ‘Even if we haven’t addressed your concern, don’t think we have'” there not taken into account,” she claimed.

“Then they’ll just fire you, that’s disgraceful.”

“I’ve talked to nurses who have lost their homes because of this.”

In withdrawing the vaccine mandate, Mr Walsh said a wide range of opinions had been submitted that informed the decision.

This included staff feedback, expert clinical advice, official immunization advice and a ‘human rights assessment’.

Similar vaccine mandates for healthcare workers were lifted in NSW at the end of 2022, but the mandate remains in place in Victoria.

He wrote, “Anyway, the moral of the story is: go with your gut parents. We knew it was something more serious. I’m just mad at myself for not pushing harder.

“But honestly, I didn’t want to be ad**k to them. It’s just a shame that sometimes you have to do that because of the incompetence of some people.

“On the other hand, today we experienced the other side of the spectrum through the sheer brilliance of an amazing team of people.

‘This post would be like a lead balloon for me to even dare to say anything negative about the NHS. But I will do anything for my little girl.”

The Strictly Come Dancing Professionals, who have been married since 2003, welcomed Ella in February 2020 after a round of IVF.

The couple earlier revealed how the toddler asked for a baby brother or sister.

Speak with OK! magazine on the red carpet of Friday night’s Together for Short Lives ball, the couple admitted that things are difficult for them.

James said: “We would love to, but it’s not that easy for us. We would love it if she had a brother or sister. She talks about it all the time!’

Ola added: “She is so talkative, she just turned three on Monday. Now that she’s three, she’s quite excited, she knows very well what’s going on.’

Speak with The sun about her daughter and the IVF process, Ola said: ‘We are very lucky that it happened to us on the first try, and we are extremely blessed to have Ella, she has such a little character.’

The dancing mum, who starred in the BBC show from 2006 to 2015, has made it clear she would not rule out IVF treatment again if the need arises.

Appearing on GB News last September, she said: ‘I would like to have more children if it happens naturally. If not, I’ll go for another IVF, yes.’

The Polish-born dancer further opened up about her struggle to conceive naturally, saying, “It’s really hard because you don’t know who to turn to.

‘Most of my friends got pregnant so easily. I didn’t understand why I wasn’t getting pregnant. I was healthy, fit, I was a professional dancer.”

Married At First Sight British star JJ Slater has revealed for the first time that he had sex with transgender bride Ella Morgan.

In an exclusive interview with MailOnline published on Monday, JJ claimed the ex-couple were not intimate because he was afraid of making the private details public without Ella’s consent.

But after speaking to his former partner, JJ wants to set the record straight and explain that he and Ella have taken their relationship to the next level.

The clothing brand owner says it felt ‘natural’ to explore his feelings for Ella ‘when the pressure was off’ when they visited his home in Essex while filming the E4 show.

And JJ, who has spoken about the impact Ella has made on his life, adds that his ex “shares the same genitals as every other woman I’ve been with” after being open about her transition from the start of their romance .

He said: ‘Yesterday when I was asked this question I hadn’t spoken to Ella… a lot of girls wouldn’t want this to be public and again for me I’m quite private so I didn’t want to talk about it.

“But at the same time, we don’t want anything to come out that isn’t true, so now I feel the need to set the record straight.

‘Where we hadn’t had the conversation, I didn’t think it was right to talk about it until I’d spoken to Ella, and I have now, and she likes it to be public.

‘We have taken our relationship to the next level. It was during my homestay… the pressure was off a bit because we were outside the bubble and there was no one else around us with their opinions.

‘We had a break and it was a comforting time in our relationship. It felt natural and good to explore the next phase. It’s not something we rushed into.”

On Monday, JJ spoke out about the vicious homophobic abuse he suffered from online trolls who called him “gay” because of his relationship with Ella.

He said the “unkind” comments about his sexuality were difficult to deal with, but his close friendship with Ella made the setback he experienced worth it.

JJ explained that it was Ella’s ability to talk openly about her transition and his acceptance of her past that brought them closer together, reiterating that he sees her for the woman she is today.

He said: ‘I don’t see it as a big deal, Ella is just like every other woman I’ve ever been with, and I see Ella as a woman.

‘Ella has been very open about her transition and shares the same genitals as every other woman I’ve been with. Our relationship was important to both of us, and we are still very good friends.’

JJ and Ella decided not to reveal that they had spent the night together to the show’s relationship experts and that their intimacy was not discussed on the series.

The couple reentered the experiment after developing feelings for each other following the breakup of their respective marriages to Nathanial Valentino and Bianca.

And JJ says sex with Ella meant more to him than just the physical, after speaking on the show about wanting to take his time before putting someone to bed.

He said: ‘We decided that neither of us felt the need to talk about it on the show, we talked about it among ourselves and people didn’t ask about it, so it was normal what happened, we’re both adults, and that Weren’t we’re going to scream it at the top of our lungs. That’s how it would be in any other relationship.

“At that point it was normal and in every relationship I’ve ever had, that’s what happens when you feel comfortable with someone.”

Ella became the first transgender contestant to star in the British series Married At First Sight after undergoing gender reassignment surgery at the age of 21.

She credits JJ with helping build her confidence after saying she had been rejected by straight men in the past and kept as a “dirty secret.”

Ella said, “Guys don’t accept me, and I don’t want to be someone’s fetish. I’ve had a lot of guys interested, but as soon as they find out about me or as soon as it gets to a serious stage, they cut it off because they’re ashamed of me and they don’t want to tell them. family and friends.

“I don’t want to be anyone’s dirty secret, but I feel like people aren’t well educated these days.”

JJ says Ella’s participation in the reality show has helped educate viewers who still have narrow-minded views towards the trans community.
