WEST HAM boss David Moyes is planning a new bid for Manchester United and England centre-back Harry Maguire this summer.

Moyes is keen to bring in a defender who can win headers after realizing his Hammers side are lacking in that area.

And the Scot returns to Maguire as an ideal man to fill the vacancy – months after first trying to sign him from Old Trafford.

The move failed last time as United wanted too much for the out-of-favour Maguire, 31.

And the centre-back wouldn’t accept a huge pay cut to make the move more likely.

However, the Irons will try again and hope the asking price has dropped enough to allow the signing.

And with Maguire nearing the end of his lucrative contract, he may be more open to a deal in London that would extend his time in the Premier League.

Maguire still has a year left on his contract in Manchester, with the club still having a one-season option if they want him to stay.

But Maguire could be available again in the summer if his sale means he can cash in and create space for some newcomers.

The £85m signing in 2019 forced his way back into the squad before he was injured.

But he will only have real transfer value for one more period.

West Ham could be willing to pay between £15m and £20m.

And they could offer Maguire a two- or three-year contract, which would be tempting.

The English defender has made 23 appearances in all competitions this season, scoring twice.

He could be fit to play in Sunday’s FA Cup tie against Liverpool after Friday’s training.

There was no doubt whether it was Freiburg’s fireworks or West Ham’s waste that did David Moyes down.

The frustrated traveling Hammers were left stunned as the German defender’s hand had been well above his head when Tomas Soucek’s desperate effort hit his arm before four minutes of control went against them.

Freiburg fans let out a barrage of firecrackers outside the Hammers hotel at 3.30am on Thursday morning.

And the Londoners spent most of the next night playing as if they had barely slept a wink.

It was an excellent save to deny the England winger, but West Ham just didn’t do enough to take control.

As they created more and more chances, Moyes was still furious at their inability to take care of the ball at times – and in the end they were punished.

The Scot had his arms in the air as Edson Alvarez handed the ball in West Ham’s half. It broke Hungarian international Roland Sallai, whose low shot was wayward but was easily tapped in by substitute Gregoritsch.

Having already beaten Freiburg twice in the group stages, there will be confidence that West Ham can pull this off, but it will have to be much better than this.

A woman has left people stunned after showing how her ‘reusable’ face mask from Lush fell apart after just 30 seconds.

The British TikToker, who goes by the title The Lush Queen, took to the platform to express her frustrations after using the sheet mask.

In a clip with more than four million views, the content creator shows how the thick mask fell apart from the moment she placed it on her face.

Alongside a sound that repeated “Um, what is that,” she dangled the product that resembled torn-apart slices of ham in the air.

Her frustrations are further compounded by the captions she wrote: “I’m sorry but why did I pay £9 for this?!”

The ‘Bunny’ mask is available from branches across the UK and via the company’s website.

When describing the vegan beauty product, the description reads: ‘Dull skin? You don’t have to dig yourself out! Get bright eyes and a bushy tail with this brightening blend of pineapple and pomegranate juice that illuminates your skin.

‘Meanwhile, kaolin clay provides deep cleansing and glycerin keeps you soft and hydrated.’

The mask should be wrapped and placed in the refrigerator after first use and can then be used for a week, according to Lush’s website.

However, this was not the case for the Lush Queen, who regularly reviews the brand’s items.

Viewers flocked to the comments to take aim at the crumbling face mask, with one person writing: ‘I thought it was ham.’

“You look like an escaped animal that went through cosmetic testing and ends up getting revenge by wearing a human as a suit,” a second cheekily commented.

Another said: ‘It looks like those sandwiches you got as a kid shaped like bears and other characters.’

Reaction: Thousands of viewers flocked to the comments section after watching the clip

“It looks like that one scene in Mean Girls where Damien smeared ham on his face,” someone joked. “You paid £9 but you should pay £9,000 for emotional damages,” another added.

One smoking user wrote: ‘No girl completely unacceptable, I would go back to the store.’

Others were confused as to how the item could even be marketed as “reusable” due to its 30-second lifespan in the clip.

A Lush spokesperson said: ‘As vegetarians, this is the closest we’ve come to disrupting your skincare routine!

‘Hopefully we haven’t caused any problems for the Parmanents. If you contact our customer service, they can resolve the problem for you.’

He said: “When I was manager I always had a man behind me at West Ham.

“For ninety minutes, right behind my dugout, he shouted, 'shake 'em up, 'Arry, shake 'em up, 'Arry.'

“I came home after the game on Saturday night and all I could hear was this guy's voice: 'Shake 'em up 'Arry'.

“So I thought, if I get a horse, I should name it Shakem Up'Arry.”
