A rapper formerly known for promoting Sydney’s so-called ‘Postcode Wars’ has tearfully apologized for the way his violent lifestyle and lyrics affected impressionable youth.

Pio Misa, better known as ‘YP’, the name under which he performed as part of the drill rap OneFour group based in the western Sydney suburb of Mt Druitt, came to a stark realization of how far he had fallen in his life while sitting in a prison cell.

Misa, 24, told Channel Nine he was locked up in the infamous NSW maximum security prison near Goulburn, southwest of Sydney, when he saw a news report about police foiling a plot to kill him.

Drill rap OneFour (pictured) was based in the western Sydney suburb of Mt Druitt and shot to fame in 2019 with their hit The Message

“I wasn’t surprised, I guess,” he said, calling it a “big wake-up call.”

‘I knew people wanted my life, rightly so. I have wronged certain people and I hope they can forgive me in due time.”

As he neared the end of a two-year prison sentence for assault, Misa reconsidered the direction his life had taken and began returning to the Christian faith in which he was raised.

“When I found this new journey, I felt like my life had just begun,” he said.

‘Finding this peace and happiness with God and with my savior Jesus Christ is something I want to share with as many people as possible.’

Miso now wants to become a priest, but is haunted by his past life.

“There’s that guilt, knowing that I influenced some of the younger generation to do things like that,” he said through tears.

‘I’m not proud of the music I’ve made in the past.

‘If you believe in something, you have to stand up for your beliefs. You have to stand up for your family.

‘Protect those you care about. In the right way.

“If there is a way to solve problems without violence, we should certainly take that approach.”

To escape his previous life, Miso studies to become a priest in his family’s church and also mentors young people in a gym in Western Sydney with his uncle, Lawrence Tauasa.

“He trains with me five days a week,” Mr Tausas said.

“I only give him Sunday off… and Thursday for Bible study.”

Misa and OneFour suddenly became famous in 2019 with their hit The Message.

It generated millions of views on YouTube, but police said the lyrics encouraged violence by talking about the Postcode Wars, where gangs targeted people from neighboring suburbs.

The post referenced the death of Tino Henry during a ‘Postcode War’ brawl in 2018.

The song stated, “Retribution is a must, there’s no ifs or buts / I got friends watching 10 / You watched yours get put in a box (put in a box).”

Misa has been convicted twice for assault.

In 2023, he was sentenced to seven months in prison, with four months non-parole, for being involved in a street fight in which he defeated Troy Camplin in the northwestern Sydney suburb of South Windsor.

Mr Camplin was knocked to the ground and hit on the head. He suffered a 2cm cut to the back of his skull, causing blood to flow down his neck and clothing.

Misa and fellow OneFour members Salec ‘Lekks’ Sua and Dahcell ‘Celly’ Ramos were all jailed following a violent attack on two men at an arcade in Rooty Hill in July 2018.

During that attack, Misa pulled a chair leg from under his clothing and hit one of the men three times, including twice in the head.

He received a prison sentence of four years.

CCTV footage of the brawl from the Netflix documentary OneFour: Against All Odds, which captured the group’s rise and battle to perform live shows.

In the documentary, OneFour received a glowing treatment and was praised by hip-hop stars Skepta and The Kid Laroi, among others.

A New York judge ruled Monday that prosecutors can introduce a variety of damaging evidence in Donald J. Trump’s upcoming criminal trial, including references to the infamous “Access Hollywood” recording in which Mr. Trump brags about groping women.

Mr. Trump’s lawyers had tried to keep the tape out of evidence, and the judge, Juan M. Merchan, reached a compromise of sorts. He ruled that it was not necessary for prosecutors from the Manhattan district attorney’s office to actually play the tape to a jury, but that they could question witnesses about it.

In other rulings on Monday, the judge strengthened the prosecution ahead of the trial, which is tentatively set to begin in mid-April. Jury selection was originally scheduled to begin on March 25, but the judge last week postponed the trial for at least three weeks after more than 100,000 investigative records came to light.

Unless the judge delays it again, it will almost certainly be the first of Mr. Trump’s four criminal cases to be heard by jurors and will be the first prosecution of a former U.S. president in the country’s history.

Some of the evidence prosecutors plan to present is not directly related to the core accusation in the case — that Mr. Trump covered up a possible sex scandal involving porn star Stormy Daniels to pave his way to the presidency in 2016. the crux of Mr. Trump’s potential motive for approving a hush-money payment to Ms. Daniels. He did so after the Access Hollywood recording was made public, a development that rocked Trump’s campaign in the weeks before Election Day.

The judge reserved a decision on some of the most damaging evidence prosecutors want to introduce: three public allegations of sexual assault brought against Mr. Trump after the tape was released. It can be difficult to convince a judge to allow sexual assault charges, as judges are expected to carefully review evidence that could unfairly harm a defendant in the eyes of the jury.

Justice Merchan will allow prosecutors to introduce evidence about two other hush money deals during the 2016 campaign, one of which involved a former Playboy model. He will also allow prosecutors to call Ms. Daniels to the witness stand, if they wish.

And he denied Mr. Trump’s request to disbar the prosecution’s key witness. The witness — Michael D. Cohen, the former president’s former fixer — paid Ms. Daniels $130,000 during the campaign to keep her from telling her story about a sexual encounter with Mr. Trump.

When Mr. Trump reimbursed Mr. Cohen, prosecutors say, his family business falsely described the reimbursements in its internal records as “legal fees,” continuing the cover-up.

The judge barred Mr. Trump’s lawyers from impeaching Mr. Cohen’s credibility by submitting statements from federal prosecutors who secured a guilty plea from Mr. Cohen in 2018 to financing campaign violations. The recent release of more than 100,000 documents that delayed the case came from the same federal prosecutors.

Mr. Trump’s lawyers cannot mention federal prosecutors’ decision not to charge Mr. Trump in 2018, Judge Merchan ruled. Nor can they claim that the current case against him is new, unusual or unprecedented, as he so often does.

Mr Trump, who recently won the Republican nomination for president, has denied any wrongdoing and has described his legal troubles as politically motivated. In the Manhattan case, he has claimed that the district attorney, Alvin L. Bragg, a Democrat, is out to get him.

But the judge will prevent his lawyers from using these claims as a defense at trial. The former president’s lawyers cannot attack Mr. Bragg’s motivations or suggest that he filed the case to interfere with Mr. Trump’s presidential campaign.

Outside of court, Mr. Trump can still make these claims, though prosecutors have separately asked Judge Merchan to impose a gag order on the former president, barring him from attacking witnesses in the case. The judge has yet to decide on that request.

A man suspected of being the infamous ‘Moore Park rapist’ – who terrorized Sydney by sexually assaulting at least ten women at knifepoint between 1991 and 1993 – has been arrested.

The city’s exclusive eastern suburbs were plagued in the early 1990s by a man dubbed the ‘Night Stalker’ who approached women at train stations asking if they were interested in modeling or cleaning work before taking them to a remote area and giving them raped with a knife. .

At least six of his victims were Asian women.

Despite a massive public appeal for information and the creation of a specialist police task force, the perpetrator was never caught.

But in a major breakthrough on Friday, NSW Police announced that a 60-year-old man suspected of being the ‘Night Stalker’ had been arrested at Sydney International Airport.

In a statement, NSW Police said the man has been charged with 33 offenses against eight of the 10 victims.

These charges include 16 counts of aggravated sexual assault.

He will appear at Downing Center Local Court today.

“Between 1991 and 1993, at least 10 women were reportedly sexually assaulted in the Moore Park and Inner West areas of Sydney, leading the media to dub the perpetrator the ‘Moore Park Rapist’ or ‘Night Stalker’,” a police spokesman said. N.S.W. said.

However, no one was ever convicted and for years the alleged crimes remained a mystery.

But the Sex Crime Squad used modern DNA and fingerprint technologies to re-investigate the case.

This led to the arrest of the 60-year-old man at Sydney International Airport on Friday.

The man was taken to Mascot Police Station where he was charged with 33 offenses against eight of the ten victims, including 16 counts of aggravated assault, eight counts of indecent assault, three counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm, two cases of assault arrest for advantage, two cases of robbery with an offensive weapon and two cases of attempted assault,” the spokesperson added.

A newspaper article from May 1993 reported that the perpetrator had sexually assaulted at least nine women with a knife over the past year.

“In each of the nine attacks, the man approached women around train stations – at night and in the early morning hours – and offered them cleaning or modeling work,” the Sydney Morning Herald article said.

‘He then lured them to a nearby secluded area – six of the attacks took place in Moore Park – and sexually assaulted them at knifepoint. Six of the women were Asian.”

Police released a sketch of the rapist and described his appearance as 173 to 180 centimeters tall, clean shaven, a light brown complexion, short dark brown hair and a medium to athletic build.

Married At First Sight’s Jonathan McCullough bravely defended Ellie Dix in Wednesday’s episode ahead of their cheating scandal.

Jono, 39, is currently ‘married’ to on-screen Lauren Dunn, while Ellie’s romance with groom Ben Walters hit the rocks at the last dinner date when he publicly broke up with her.

However, Daily Mail Australia previously revealed that MAFS is set to be rocked by a scandal after Ellie and Jono looked cozy on a recent outing and will announce their relationship at the show’s reunion.

And in the last episode, Jono kindly jumped to Ellie’s defense when he made his feelings very clear by saying he wanted to ‘slap’ Ben because of his recent behavior.

At the dinner party, Ellie was seen telling the group how Ben had spent two hours reciting a list of everything he didn’t like about her and their relationship – including the fact that she wears make-up.

The group was left furious by the confession, and Jono was quick to express his disapproval of Ben amid the drama, while firmly siding with Ellie.

He said: ‘I don’t understand Ben, he had a beautiful, sweet girl, I actually want to punch him… in a metaphorical sense. Like, stop ruining this great opportunity, but he definitely ruined a good thing, I would say.”

After Ben tried to defend the infamous list at the dinner, Jono added: “There were excuses, stories and revelations, I don’t buy what he’s selling at all.”

Later at the dinner, Ben shockingly broke up with Ellie in front of the entire dinner party, leaving the bride in tears after going through a rough patch as a couple.

He told Ellie: “The truth is, I don’t believe we’re meant to be together. I really believe we’re better off as friends. My apologies for wasting your time.”

Ellie's romance with Ben Walters hit the rocks at the final dinner party when she told the group that the groom made a list of things he didn't like about her, while Jono defended her.

Ellie was left furious that Ben hadn’t even tried to consider her feelings and insisted she didn’t want him in her life.

‘He doesn’t really know how to talk to anyone. What I have seen of Ben now is not the Ben I want in the future,” she said.

MAFS will soon be rocked by a scandal involving Ellie and Jono after they were spotted packing on the PDA on an outing after filming wrapped.

Earlier this month, Daily Mail Australia revealed images of the couple – who are currently ‘married’ to other on-screen partners – enjoying a steamy day out in Sydney.

In the photos, the pair looked very much in love as they enjoyed a carefree day out at Tamarama Beach in Sydney’s eastern suburbs.

Ellie and Jonathan will announce their relationship during the show’s reunion.

Their clandestine affair is said to have started with secret text messages exchanged during filming of the show after Ellie ended things with partner Ben.

An insider told Daily Mail Australia it will all happen at a future commitment ceremony.

“Lauren had no idea Jono was keeping in touch with Ellie and found out during filming, and boy was she not happy,” they said.

‘She was completely stunned and humiliated at the end, but everyone else is happy for them.’

The source added, “Jono and Ellie kept in touch after she left the show, but the romance only escalated when Jono ended things with Lauren during the Final Vows. Their real-life encounter a few days later revealed an undeniable chemistry.”

Jono and Ellie will dazzle their co-stars by walking into the reunion as a couple hand in hand.

Ben Walters, Ellie’s husband on the show, was reportedly equally surprised by the development, sources close to the show have revealed.

Tara McWilliams, who is credited with transforming the experiment into the ratings success it is today, told Daily Mail Australia that the show will be around for a while. non-judgmental attitude towards personal relationships.

A bar has made a nod to Saltburn’s most bizarre scenes, hosting a theme night dedicated to the film – complete with a bathtub, ‘Gin J**z’ cocktails and flashy costumes – referencing some of the most disturbing parts of the film.

The £25-a-head bash at The Raven in Bristol promised a ‘journey into decadence’ for its guests as partygoers celebrated on Friday evening.

The hit 2023 film’s explicit bathroom scene was one of the biggest talking points, leaving some viewers ‘traumatized’.

In the scandalous scene, Oliver Quick (Barry Keoghan), who is in love with his fellow student Felix Catton (Jacob Elordi), secretly drinks his bathwater as it drains from the bathtub.

The Raven’s ‘An Evening At Saltburn’ offered guests cocktails inspired by the daring moment, and the opportunity to pose in their very own version of the bath.

A bar has divided opinion by hosting a Saltburn-themed evening, complete even with that bathtub

“It was a kaleidoscope: a Midsummer Night’s Dream crossed with the grungy Saltburn aesthetic,” said one partygoer.

‘We were most blown away by the burlesque dancer – who performed with fire.

‘Our favorite cocktail was the Bath Gin J**z – it tasted like sorbet and something salty.

‘I also loved the lip-smacking butler, who greeted guests on arrival and handed out egg sweets – a lovely reference to the film where Ollie (Barry Keoghan) asks for eggs.

“It was a great night, all it took was Barry Keoghan.”

An Instagram ad for the Feb. 23 event also promised DJs, burlesque and other “roaring performers.”

Meanwhile, the cocktail list included ‘Bath Gin J**z’, ‘Blood and Pants’ and ‘Sex on the Grave’ – the latter referencing another controversial scene.

Many revelers wore Barry Keoghan-inspired deer antlers and extravagant ensembles tied to the film’s rich party culture.

Saltburn was released theatrically in Britain on November 17 last year.

It was then streamed on Amazon on December 22.

The critically acclaimed film has since received several accolades, including two Golden Globe Award nominations.

After the bath scene, a number of retailers started selling ‘Jacob Elordi bath water’ scented candles.

Cruelty-free cosmetics retailer Lush went one step further by introducing its Saltbomb – a blend of coconut milk powder and mineral-rich coarse sea salt, while sharing a scent with the brand’s moisturizing bubble bar, Milky Bath.

The company has gone to great lengths to promote this product, even having their models pose in a manner reminiscent of Oliver.

Prison and prison life remain a fascinating subject for us law-abiding people. We all know the anecdotal (and probably terrible advice) doled out to people new to the clinking: fight the biggest man and assert dominance, watch yourself in the shower, etc. Women’s prisons, although they are more unknown , have crept into the public eye bit by bit in recent years, with documentaries and streaming shows like Orange is the new black gives us an, albeit sensational, glimpse into what life is like behind bars.

But what are female prisoners like? Are they in prison for the same terrible crimes committed by men? Do they reach a level of fame like the infamous Bronson?

Here is a list of ten of the most infamous female prisoners ever.

10 Gene Jones

Murderers are probably among the most deserving people to end up behind bars. From a logical point of view, the threat of ending someone’s life should be enough to keep you out of society as a whole. Killing a child, however, is on a whole different level.

This Texas murderer, born in 1950, was a pediatric nurse and came into contact with children and victims every day during his work. By injecting her victims with various poisons, investigators estimate that Jones ended the lives of approximately 60 children, putting her in the category of a serial killer.

Sentenced to 99 years for the murder of Chelsea Ann McLellan, it seemed as if Jones was destined for life behind bars. In a stunning turnaround, a mandatory release law was passed, and Jones became eligible for release after serving only a third of her sentence. After much effort and more deaths attributed to her coming to light, a jury decided she should remain in prison for life.[1]

9 Cathy Wood and Gwendolyn Graham

Who can resist true love? The kind of love that makes you kill others to seal your love for each other.

When Graham and Wood, both assistants at Alpine Manor, met, the new couple quickly fell into a torrid relationship that eventually culminated in murder. Wood admitted to murdering five of the patients together and choosing the victims based on the first letters of their names in an attempt to spell MURDER, which would somehow link the two forever.

After a few murders they abandoned the spelling, but the deaths continued. The couple proved the seal didn’t work and broke up. A few years later, Wood came clean to her husband and, in exchange for testifying against Graham, was sentenced to 40 years and granted parole in 2018 (after being denied eight times). Graham received five life sentences.[2]

8 Nanny Doss

When you read about a serial killer, certain disturbing images come to mind. It just gets worse when you read that the serial killer was a grandmother, also known as the Giggling Granny. A killer with a sunny disposition.

Nancy Hazel had many such terrible nicknames: Lady Bluebeard, Jolly Black Widow, and the Lonely Hearts Killer, but that she was a cheerful psychopath is all you need to know. Nannie Doss was arrested in 1955 for her husband’s death and confessed to killing four more. However, there is much speculation that she killed nearly twelve people during her murderous life.

When one husband became too much, she simply killed him and moved on to the next. During her trial, she blamed her terrible antics on her brain injury, but the jury saw through it and sentenced her to life in prison. She died a few years later while serving her sentence.[3]

7 Lindy Chamberlain

It was August 1970 when tragedy struck a campsite near Australia’s Ayer Rock, killing 10-year-old Azaria Chamberlain.

Lindy’s defense? A dingo carried away her child and was the main cause of death. Azaria’s body was never found. Lindy was found guilty of murder and given a life sentence. Her husband, Michael, was subsequently given a suspended sentence for complicity.

The case was a sensation, and allegations that police provided the media information further complicated matters. The Chamberlains exhausted every option available to them, and Lindy was staring at a life in prison when Azaria’s coat was found near an area where there are many dingoes. The cause of death remains a mystery, but there was enough doubt to exonerate the Chamberlains.[4]

6 Mary Bell

When ten-year-old Mary Bell killed two boys, ages three and four respectively, the world was shocked. How can someone commit such atrocities at such an innocent age? Easy: psychopathy.

Mary Bell was accused of strangling the two boys. Thanks to mounting evidence and testimony from her older sister, Anne Bell, the case was clear. Bell had taken their lives and therefore had to be tried for murder. Bell then proceeded to write letters of confession to the parents of the little victims.

Court psychiatrists convinced the jury that Bell was too young to realize the intent of murder, and given her psychopathy, she could not be held responsible for her own actions. Bell was convicted of manslaughter, and at a time when juvenile detention did not exist, she was sent to adult prison. Twelve years later she was released for good behavior.[5]

5 Joyce Mitchell

Joyce Mitchell was in jail, yes, but not for breaking the law. She worked as a seamstress at Clinton Maximum Security Prison, just doing her job. That was until she decided to break the law.

Joyce gave a drill and a hacksaw to two dangerous criminals, Richard Matt and David Sweat, allowing them to escape from prison in the most sensational way. The fugitives managed to evade authorities for almost three weeks, with the search culminating in a shootout, leaving Matt dead and Sweat injured and taken back into custody.

Mitchell planned to meet the men in a getaway car once they got outside, but her feet got cold. She was charged with promoting prison contraband and facilitating criminal activity and was sentenced to up to eight years in prison. She was released after five.[6]

4 Sister Ping

Cheng Chui Ping, known worldwide as Sister Ping or the Mother of the Snakeheads, was a ruthless business magnate who made his money through human smuggling.

At a time when it was insanely lucrative for people to come to the US from China in hopes of making top dollar (or just a working wage), Ping decided to turn it into a business. She smuggled as many as 3,000 people into the US, for a price, of course. It was a dangerous and often perilous journey, and it came at a high price, making Ping a wealthy international businesswoman.

After a collaboration with Hong Kong authorities led to her capture, she was sentenced to 35 years in prison. Ping, once an illegal immigrant himself, eventually died in prison of pancreatic cancer.[7]

3 Ilse Koch

Koch, also known as the Beast, the Witch and the Bitch of Buchenwald, was the wife of Colonel Karl Koch of the SS and head of the Buchenwald concentration camp.

Koch is known for some of history’s worst atrocities, beatings, rapes and more. However, she is perhaps best known for commissioning lampshades, book covers and gloves made from the tattooed skin of the prisoners.

But near the end of the war, Koch got what was coming to her when she was tried as a war criminal and given a harsh sentence for her involvement. However, the Americans released Koch at the outbreak of the Cold War for political reasons. Yet she was arrested the same day by West German authorities, who sentenced her to life behind bars. Koch eventually hanged herself with her sheets.[8]

2 The San Antonio Four

At the height of the satanic panic, four friends felt the full effects of what paranoia, fear, homophobia and our obsession with the Devil could do.

Four Texas women – Elizabeth Ramirez, Cassandra Rivera, Kristie Mayhugh and Anna Vasquez – were convicted in 1998 of sexually assaulting two young girls after the alleged victims (who were seven and nine at the time) accused them of assaulting them. One of the girls, Ramirez’s cousins, later testified that they had lied after becoming angry because her aunt was a lesbian.

The women spent fifteen years behind bars before being released. Still, they had to fight another five years so a judge could acquit them and expunge the convictions from their records.[9]

1 Aileen Wuornos

Captured in Charlize Theron’s Oscar-winning performance in the film SampleAileen Wuornos was a controversial figure even after her arrest.

Known as one of the most dangerous female serial killers in American history, Aileen shot and killed six men (possibly seven) between 1989 and 1990. She was arrested and sentenced to six death sentences a year later. She was executed by lethal injection in 2002, but her time in prison was not without incident.

During her time on death row, Wuornos urged authorities to put her out of her misery, suggesting there was no point in delaying her execution as she was unrepentant and would kill again. She also suggested that her lengthy incarceration was a waste of taxpayer money.[10]

An angry police officer brutally sprayed a motorist who was caught driving 25mph over the speed limit at a major accident scene.

The driver was reportedly caught doing 144km/h in a 100km/h zone on the Bruce Highway at Goochie near Maryborough in south-east Queensland on February 13.

He also allegedly crossed the double white lines to overtake another vehicle.

Video footage taken by a police car showed the driver of the red Subaru WRX driving at high speed on the highway.

A police officer administered an angry spray to a driver (pictured) who was allegedly caught speeding more than 25mph over the speed limit

The police officer gave chase before pulling the 47-year-old man over.

The Buderim man was handed a huge fine of $1,780 and had eight penalty points deducted from his driver’s license, which was also suspended for six months.

The angry police officer did not save the driver from being charged for his driving.

“You just got a speeding ticket,” she told him bluntly.

‘If you reach speeds of more than 40 kilometers per hour above the limit, you will commit suicide or kill someone else.

“Maybe mom, dad and the two kids are coming the other way, we’re trying to avoid that.”

The officer explained how police have been traveling around Queensland in an effort to reduce the number of deaths on the state’s roads.

“People die on the roads in this state every day and we are over-represented in road tolls for all of Australia.

‘In this region alone it is worse than anywhere else.

The officer urged the man to slow down and drive safely as he got behind the wheel.

The driver was reportedly spotted by police traveling at a speed of 144km/h (pictured) in a 100km/h zone on part of the Bruce Highway

When the officer asked if he knew how fast he was going, the driver said he wasn’t sure and thought he was going between 70mph and 75mph.

The man was also fined $278 for crossing the double lines, for which he also lost your demerit points.

Acting Inspector Shelley Moore of the Maryborough Patrol Group urged motorists to stop speeding as it leads to fatal accidents.

“There is absolutely no reason to drive more than 25 miles above the speed limit,” Inspector Moore said.

“Police in the Wide Bay Burnett District work very hard every day to reduce the toll, we don’t want to see this type of dangerous behavior.”

Although deaths on Queensland roads fell year on year in 2023, 277 people lost their lives.

Australia last year suffered its deadliest six-month period in terms of road fatalities since 2010, figures from the Australian Automobile Association show.

A total of 677 people were killed on roads in Australia in the second half of 2023 through December.

M&S has axed its infamous 'naughty' Valentine's dish after five years.

Shoppers expecting to enjoy the 'Love Sausage' on the most romantic day of the year are faced with heartbreak.

1

The Marks and Spencer's Love Sausage was a hit with customers last year.

The 450g Love Sausage has been on M&S shelves for the past five years, but this time fans have been left stunned.

The Valentine's Day breakfast treat consisted of two heart-shaped pork sausages wrapped in bacon.

The evocative breakfast item first launched in 2019 and has been on sale every year except this one.

Last year, loving couples described the popular breakfast item as “really tasty” and “a winner”.

The Sun contacted Marks and Spencer after noticing the popular item was not causing the usual stir on social media.

A spokesperson for the retailer said: “Love Sausage was originally launched in 2019.

“Every year we renew our Valentine's Day range to offer innovative new products to our customers and this occasionally means replacing older lines.

“This month alone we launched more than 25 brand new Valentine's Day products at the Foodhall and launched our most luxurious Dine In yet for the first time, including Lobster.”

At its launch, the “Love Sausage” received a lot of attention due to its bold name.

The item was last seen in February 2023 when it was reduced in price on Ocado.

The breakfast treat was reduced from its usual retail price of £6 to just £3 on the online supermarket's website.

One customer said at the time: “I absolutely loved this and a bonus that it is gluten free, which you would never guess! It had a lovely smoky flavor with a hint of truffle, would definitely buy again.”

And another claimed it “definitely raised a smile” even though they thought it was a lot for just two people.

We looked around to see if there were other supermarkets offering similar items that could suit couples wanting a romantic breakfast for two.

Unfortunately, nothing beats the Love Sausage, even though there are plenty to choose from when it comes to Valentine's Day dining.

Most supermarkets offer a special dinner meal for Valentine's Day, consisting of three courses and a drink.

The good news is that there is something to suit everyone's taste buds and wallet.

We also have some handy hacks so you don't have to spend a lot of money to show your softer side.

Asda has a three-course dinner offer that will cost you just £12, compared to just £6 each.

Plus it's cheaper than last year's £15, and you can choose from seven starters, ten mains and two desserts.

Members of the co-op can get their hands on a three-course meal for just £10.

Non-members can get the same deal for £12, including a choice of one of six pizza flavors to share and a bottle of Prosecco.

Heron Foods, Iceland and Sainbsury's are among the other supermarkets offering meal deals, but there are many more.

We've got the full list of supermarkets doing Valentine's Day meal deals, with prices starting from under £4 per person.

In the meantime, if you're looking for a last-minute romantic dinner that doesn't cost a lot of money, we might be able to help.

We can reveal a little-known hack that can even get you a Valentine's Day meal for free.

How to reduce your grocery store costs

EXPERTS at money.co.uk have shared some top tips to help you keep your supermarket spend low.

  • Write yourself a list – Only buy things you need. If it's not on your list, don't put it in the trolley
  • Make a budget – Work out a weekly budget for your groceries
  • Never shop hungry – You are much more likely to buy more food when your stomach is growling
  • Do not buy pre-cut vegetables or fruit -The extra fees they charge for chopping can be mouth-watering
  • Use social media – Follow your favorite retailers to find out about the latest offers
  • Be unfaithful – You may want to go to different stores to find the best bargains
  • Check the fine print – It's always worth checking the price per kg/lb/litre when comparing offers so you make a comparable decision, as a bigger box doesn't necessarily mean you get more
  • Use your loyalty cards – Don't be afraid to sign up for them all. They all work a little differently: find out which bonus suits you best and don't forget to redeem your points for extra rewards

It was the infamous camp party film that was blamed for derailing Faye Dunaway's stellar career… but now the Academy Awards have finally chosen to celebrate it, 42 years later.

Oscars bosses have raised eyebrows by sharing an 83rd birthday tribute to the star using only clips from her infamous 1981 film Mommie Dearest.

Fans of the actress have even accused the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences of taunting Dunaway over her choice for the over-the-top Joan Crawford biopic, which she is known to dislike and not allow interviewers to mention .

One wrote underneath: 'She will be so sorry for this, thank you.'

Oscars bosses raised eyebrows with a birthday tribute to Faye Dunaway featuring clips from her 1981 film Mommie Dearest – which was snubbed for awards by Academy bosses and which the 83-year-old actress is known to hate . Dunaway is seen in one of the Joan Crawford biopic's many memorable scenes, in which she berates adopted daughter Christina for using wire hangers.

Also included in the tribute was this scene, beloved by camp fans everywhere, in which Dunaway's Crawford bellows

Another said: 'So epic that the academy posted this on her birthday…best gift ever.

A third said: 'This movie ruined her career and she likes the movie so much lol.'

And a fourth wrote: 'I have a feeling whoever uploaded this will receive a very unpleasant voicemail.'

That was a reference to a furious voice message Dunaway left for a journalist who once asked her too many questions about Mommie Dearest, instead of her other films.

The Oscar tribute included all of the film's most memorable scenes, including this infamous confrontation between Joan Crawford and the bosses of Pepsi, on whose board she sat.

The Oscars Instagram tribute features many of the film's best clips, including Dunaway singing “No wire hangers!” shouts. before punching adopted daughter Christina, played by Mara Hobel, after finding the offending items in a closet.

Also present and correct was the moment when Dunaway screams “Tina, bring me the axe” as a crazed Joan destroys her rose garden after being told she is “box office poison” and ousted by the boss of MGM Studios.

Dunaway's Joan was also seen yelling at members of Pepsi's board, “Don't f**k me guys, this isn't my first time at the rodeo,” as the members tried to unseat her.

Mommie Dearest was based on a tell-all book that Joan's adopted daughter Christina published a year after her mother's death in 1977, in which she accused the Hollywood icon of being an abusive mother.

The decision to celebrate Mommie Dearest is strange, considering the Academy completely snubbed the film for nominations after its release in 1981.

It ended at the Golden Raspberry Awards for the worst films, with Dunaway being named worst actress there.

Dunaway won a Best Actress Oscar for her role as a ratings-obsessed TV executive in 1976's Network, but no footage from that film was used.

She was also nominated for best actress for Bonnie and Clyde in 1968 and Chinatown in 1975 – but clips from those films were mysteriously missing as well.

Dunaway played the role in Mommie Dearest, likely believing the poignant subject matter would earn her a fourth Oscar nomination.

The big-budget film featured beautiful sets and amazing costumes by legendary designer Irene Sharaff, who also worked on the original West Side Story, Meet Me in St Louis, Cleopatra and An American in Paris.

Dunaway also received applause for her incredible physical transformation, using makeup and muscle contortions on her face to achieve an uncanny resemblance to Crawford.

But her high hopes were shattered after the film's release, with audiences erupting in laughter at the turbo-charged, campy scenes.

The film quickly became a cult hit and remains extremely popular in the gay community.

Reviewers were divided over Dunaway's performance – with both the New York Times and the New Yorker praising her portrayal of Crawford.

However, Variety's review was scathing, with the critic saying, 'Dunaway doesn't chew scenery. Dunaway starts neatly on each corner of the set in each scene and swallows it whole, costars and all.”

The actress is said to have been deeply shaken by the Mommie Dearest debacle and moved to England with photographer husband Terry Richardson and their son Liam for much of the 1980s.

The couple separated in 1987 and Dunaway returned to the US.

Dunaway's career never again reached the heady heights of her blockbusters of the 1960s and 1970s, although Mommie Dearest has since been reevaluated by many critics who have praised the film and the actress's astonishing performance.

She did discuss the film in a 1995 episode of Inside the Actors Studio, saying, “It was never directorially modulated, I'm sorry to say it became camp.”

In 2008 a Guardian The interviewer said he was banned from mentioning Mommie Dearest during an interview with Dunaway.

She later ended the conversation in anger after he questioned her about claims she hurled a cup of urine over director Roman Polanski during the filming of Chinatown.

And in 2016, the actor told People that she blamed the film for damaging her career.

She said: 'I think it took my career in a direction where people would inevitably get the wrong impression of me.'

Dunaway also claimed that her ferocious portrayal of Crawford tainted the public's perception of her.

The actress has been accused of being difficult and was fired from a Broadway play in 2019 after allegedly creating a “hostile” and “dangerous” work environment.

Dunaway had another major brush with Oscars fame – when she and Bonnie and Clyde co-star Warren Beatty incorrectly announced that La La Land had won Best Picture in 2017, instead of deserving winner Moonlight.

But unlike Joan and Christina Crawford's fraught relationship, Dunaway's son Liam is definitely one of her fans.

On Saturday, he shared the Mommie Dearest Academy tribute clip on his Instagram page, writing: @theacademy showing some love.”
