A bar has made a nod to Saltburn’s most bizarre scenes, hosting a theme night dedicated to the film – complete with a bathtub, ‘Gin J**z’ cocktails and flashy costumes – referencing some of the most disturbing parts of the film.

The £25-a-head bash at The Raven in Bristol promised a ‘journey into decadence’ for its guests as partygoers celebrated on Friday evening.

The hit 2023 film’s explicit bathroom scene was one of the biggest talking points, leaving some viewers ‘traumatized’.

In the scandalous scene, Oliver Quick (Barry Keoghan), who is in love with his fellow student Felix Catton (Jacob Elordi), secretly drinks his bathwater as it drains from the bathtub.

The Raven’s ‘An Evening At Saltburn’ offered guests cocktails inspired by the daring moment, and the opportunity to pose in their very own version of the bath.

“It was a kaleidoscope: a Midsummer Night’s Dream crossed with the grungy Saltburn aesthetic,” said one partygoer.

‘We were most blown away by the burlesque dancer – who performed with fire.

‘Our favorite cocktail was the Bath Gin J**z – it tasted like sorbet and something salty.

‘I also loved the lip-smacking butler, who greeted guests on arrival and handed out egg sweets – a lovely reference to the film where Ollie (Barry Keoghan) asks for eggs.

“It was a great night, all it took was Barry Keoghan.”

An Instagram ad for the Feb. 23 event also promised DJs, burlesque and other “roaring performers.”

Meanwhile, the cocktail list included ‘Bath Gin J**z’, ‘Blood and Pants’ and ‘Sex on the Grave’ – the latter referencing another controversial scene.

Many revelers wore Barry Keoghan-inspired deer antlers and extravagant ensembles tied to the film’s rich party culture.

Saltburn was released theatrically in Britain on November 17 last year.

It was then streamed on Amazon on December 22.

The critically acclaimed film has since received several accolades, including two Golden Globe Award nominations.

After the bath scene, a number of retailers started selling ‘Jacob Elordi bath water’ scented candles.

Cruelty-free cosmetics retailer Lush went one step further by introducing its Saltbomb – a blend of coconut milk powder and mineral-rich coarse sea salt, while sharing a scent with the brand’s moisturizing bubble bar, Milky Bath.

The company has gone to great lengths to promote this product, even having their models pose in a manner reminiscent of Oliver.

According to Lush’s website, customers should ‘put this piece of paradise in your bath to create that silky, milky water’.

“Bring it on, Saltbomb’s salty, milky bathwater is fit for a stately splurge,” reads the website description.

Lush’s limited edition Saltbomb (£5) is available online and via the Lush app, while supplies last.

Meanwhile, an ice cream retailer in the Lake District also shocked customers by launching ‘Jacob Elordi’s Bathwater’ as a flavour.
