The supermarket giant has now reduced the price of its large Easter eggs from £3 to £2, until March 5.

With 24 varieties to choose from, including Cadbury, Aero and Bounty, there is sure to be something for everyone in the family.

The offer is available both online and in stores, but is subject to availability, so if you want to get your hands on your favorite, you’ll need to act quickly.

We checked the price of large Easter eggs in other retailers and most still cost £3.

Remember, even if you see a lot, it’s good to look around as many supermarkets and retailers usually start to compete with each other the closer it gets.

You can check prices online by using comparison sites such as Google Shopping and Trolley.co.uk, but be aware that there may be different offers available in store too.

Shoppers are already looking to stock up and chocolate lovers have tagged their friends in the Tesco Clubcard deal on social media.

One person said, “I need to get a cart full.”

Another commented: “Is there a limit on how many you can buy?”

While a third added: “Let’s go this afternoon.”

Meanwhile, some sweet-toothed shoppers are devastated after Mars confirmed one fan favorite has been axed from this year’s Easter line-up.

Bounty lovers are bracing themselves as it has been revealed that fans won’t be able to get their hands on a Bounty dark chocolate bar, which usually comes in the Easter Bounty chocolate egg carton.

The Bounty chocolate egg carton usually contains a hollow milk chocolate egg speckled with desiccated coconut and two fun Bounty bars, one of which used to be a dark chocolate Bounty bar.

However, much to the disappointment of fans, this year a smaller 207 gram chocolate box will contain a hollow milk chocolate egg and two fun milk chocolate Bounty bars.

It is the second heartbreak that Bounty lovers have had to deal with in the past year after the chocolate giant announced that it would discontinue the dark chocolate Bounty.

Mars said at the time that the bar had been temporarily discontinued, but the fan favorite has since disappeared from store shelves.

However, it’s not all bad news when it comes to chocolate. If you’re a Lindt fan, we can reveal some of the cheapest places where you can buy your favorite Lindt chocolate eggs.

We also put some mini egg dupes from the supermarket to the test with the original Cadbury products.

Also, if you have a large family and want to get a really cheap deal on some Easter chocolate, it’s worth heading to Morrisons.

The supermarket is currently running a promotion where some eggs can be scanned at the checkout for just 75 cents.

How to save on your supermarket shopping

There are plenty of ways to save money at your grocery store.

You can look for yellow or red stickers on products, which indicate when they are discounted.

If the food is fresh, eat it quickly or freeze it for another time.

Making a list should also save you money because you’ll be less likely to make hasty purchases when you go to the grocery store.

Choosing your own brand can be an easy way to save hundreds of dollars a year on your food bill, too.

This means ditching the ‘best’ or ‘luxury’ products and instead opting for ‘own’ or value-for-money lines.

Many supermarkets have shaky fruit and vegetable programs where you can get cheap prices if they are misshapen or imperfect.

For example, Lidl runs its Waste Not scheme, offering 5kg boxes of fruit and vegetables for just £1.50.

If you’re on a low income and a parent, you could potentially get up to £442 a year in Healthy Start vouchers, which you can also use at the supermarket.

In addition, many municipalities offer supermarket vouchers as part of the Household Support Fund.
