TODAY is National Pizza Day and what better way to celebrate than with a big slice of your favorite variety?
Every year we spend more than £5 billion on pizzas, 80 percent of which are ordered from restaurants and takeaways and 20 percent are bought from supermarkets.
But as prices rise, you can save money by buying one of your favorite brands and cooking it at home.
Franco Manca, Zizzi and Pizza Express all have tasty options.
Lynsey Hope tastes the choices and gives her opinion and rating out of five.
Zizzi
Rustica Piccante Pepperoni Pizza £4.25, Morrisons
(Cooking time: 11-12 minutes)
ZIZZI has launched a whole range of branded dishes in selected Morrisons stores, so I was excited to see how well this did compared to their restaurant meal.
I enjoyed the crumbled pepperoni and the base was cooked quite well.
This pizza tasted very spicy, with the hot peppers and drizzled chili oil, and for the price I thought this was good value.

FRANCO MANCA
Spicy salami, fried onion and chilli-infused honey, £5, ocado.com
(Cooking time: 9 minutes)
A SOURDOUGH base topped with rich tomato sauce, spicy salami, mozzarella and fried onions, this was super easy to prepare.
It was cooked perfectly in nine minutes.
Then drizzle over the chili pepper-infused honey before serving.
Taste-wise, this was my favorite.
The base was very special.
I would go so far as to say that I have never eaten such good pizza when I wasn't in a restaurant.
My top scorer, this was of exceptional quality.
Simply delicious.

TGI Friday
Triple Pepperoni Sharing Pizza £4.50, iceland.co.uk
(Cooking time: 17-18 minutes)
GREAT value, but the base was very dry and the pizza as a whole was not very tasty.
The pepperoni had a bit of a tang to it and there wasn't enough tomato sauce.
The package says to cook for 17 to 18 minutes, but I noticed it took longer for the toppings to seem ready, by which time the base was dried out and overcooked.
It also had a bit of a strange aftertaste.

PIZZA Pilgrims
Napoli Pizza At Home Kit £7.50, ocado.com
(Cooking time: 10 minutes)
THIS take-home kit contains enough to make two pizzas, but if you want more interesting toppings you'll have to buy them separately as this kit only contains mozzarella and tomato.
The dough mix was good and easy to pull.
You can cook in a pizza oven or a frying pan and the preparation does not take long.
Much better than the standard supermarket fare, and the kids will love making it.

PIZZA EXPRESS
American Hot £6, sainsburys.co.uk
(Cooking time: 10 minutes)
I found the base of this to be a bit dry and rather cardboardy.
This pizza was the most expensive in our test by weight and was not my favorite.
No fuss and easy to make, it was ready in ten minutes, and the pepperoni and jalapenos were nice and plentiful.
But it says nothing about what you get when you order at one of the chain's restaurants.
