The best holiday movies to snuggle up to

Nothing screams the holidays more than curling up on the couch, grabbing some hot chocolate and putting on a festive movie.

We weekly has rounded up the most ‘cuddle-worthy’ Christmas movies to stream this season, including The holiday, white Christmas and Hallmarks The Christmas house.

“I’m going to move on to the sets for The holidayyou just felt like you were walking into the characters’ homes,” Cameron Diazwho played Amanda in the 2006 rom-com, shared Vulture in December 2020. “You kind of forgot that you were on a sound stage, that there were lights above you and cameras around you. That disappears and you’re left with these very clear, thoughtful environments that the characters live in.

She noted that the film’s cozy atmosphere comes from the “beautiful” sets that director Nancy Meyers created. “Many textures, many layers. … So that wraps around you when you walk on set,” Diaz added.
