Girlfriend Mandie Reusch’s Depraved Texts That ‘Driven Army Veteran To Suicide’

In a shocking series of text messages, the woman accused of driving her army veteran boyfriend to suicide told him he would never see his daughter again and sent him a video of her performing oral sex on her new man.

Mandie Reusch, 35, was indicted just outside Pittsburgh on Tuesday on charges of assisted suicide and harassment related to the June 2021 death of her estranged boyfriend and father of her daughter, Kevin Metzger, 37.

DailyMail.com has exclusively obtained dozens of abusive messages via WhatsApp in which Reusch urged the former soldier to commit suicide, threatened to shoot him and mocked him for the death of his beloved dog.

She described sex with other men in graphic detail and sent a 49-second clip of her having oral sex with her new partner while berating Metzger with messages about how he had “ugly, bald and rotten teeth.”

Police said the posts she was charged with were among the “most extreme” examples of bullying they had ever seen.

Her lawyer, Phil DiLucente, told DailyMail.com that the texts were “immoral,” but that he is confident they did not meet the criminal threshold.

Just six weeks after the barrage of text messages, Metzger took to Facebook before committing suicide. He wrote, “I can’t do this anymore. She needs [to be] punished. The courts are too slow.’

In messages sent via WhatsApp and viewed exclusively by DailyMail.com, Reusch tells Metzger that she is moving in with her new boyfriend and brags about his sexual prowess.

The deluge of messages began at 2:49 a.m. on May 5, 2021 — just over a month before Metzger committed suicide.

She tells her child’s father that their daughter will call her new boyfriend “daddy” from now on.

“You won’t see her on Father’s Day or any holiday for that matter,” Reusch writes while also complaining that Metzger owes her money.

“My kids will literally be better off with any other role model than you… if you show up here again, we’ll have a gun and I’ll call the cops.”

“From now on we are [her new boyfriend’s surname] and you don’t exist. [He] is now her father. Not you. Never ask for her again. She’s not your daughter. You never hear anything about her again.’

In another message, the suspect says she ‘hopes’ for their daughter that he ‘takes his own life’.

‘She’s going to call [him] “daddy” because he’s a much better dad than you. Kill yourself. I’m serious… I actually want you to kill yourself because I think you’re the worst person on the planet.”

In his obituary, Metzger’s daughter is referred to as the “light of his life.”

“Kevin just wanted to be a current dad and she tormented him for years,” a friend told DailyMail.com

In several posts, Reusch accuses Metzger of ruining Mother’s Day for her. Apparently that’s why she’s willing to refuse parental access.

‘Who knows how big she will be when you see her again. Does she remember you,” she wrote.

In a conversation, Reusch says that Metzger killed their dog Zoe. She says she is shredding a book of photos of the pet, that the dog really hated him, and that she and her new boyfriend would have sex on top of the book.

“That dog hated you and ran away every chance she could. Just like I ran off to suck anyone’s dick except yours because you are literally the worst person I’ve ever met in my life,” she wrote.

After saying he killed their dog, Reusch says again that he will be shot if he tries to go near her.

On multiple occasions, Reusch refers to Metzger as a “woman beater” and “abusive.”

Reusch sends Metzger a photo of her new boyfriend and says so [Metzger] ruined every holiday’ by making it over [Metzger’s] bald head and beer belly and rotting teeth.’

A friend of Metzger’s shared with DailyMail.com a Facebook post saying Reusch was trying to “get me to commit suicide for the money.” I’ve got the texts.’

“Kevin just wanted to be a current dad and she tormented him for years,” that friend told DailyMail.com.

Later, Reusch says she will move to West Virginia with their child. “Call my f***in’ bluff,” she texts.

In a separate conversation, she wrote, “I wanted you to act normal and romantic for once. I wanted you to come to an agreement and stick to it. It wasn’t my fault we weren’t working. But damn, if you turn out to be the abusive son of a bitch you are, I’m going to get shut down.”

Reusch followed that post with a 49-second clip of a woman performing oral sex with her new partner. She does not mention the clip in the text messages.

During the barrage of text messages DailyMail.com has seen, Metzger never responds.

Reusch’s lawyer has rejected comparisons between his client’s allegations and the 2014 case of Conrad Roy, then 18, and Michelle Carter, then 17.

In 2017, Carter was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter after she was found to have sent Roy text messages encouraging him to commit suicide. He took his own life from carbon monoxide poisoning. Carter was released from prison in 2020.

DiLucente said prosecutors are comparing the two cases. ‘[Carter] basically told him to strengthen him to do it, plan it, the methods and the means, you don’t have that here, what you have is an emotional relationship between two people involving their child,” the lawyer said.

The lawyer said the messages Reusch sent to Metzger could be considered “immoral.”

“I don’t see it fitting with a criminal charge, such as assisted suicide. There was no coercion, coercion, there were no methods and means,” he said.

“There are always two sides to a story and our side of the story will be told over the course of this case,” DiLucente added.

“The preliminary hearings are going to take a long time. And I think a wealth of information will be discovered,” the lawyer concluded.

Reusch, of Greensburg, is due back in court on June 27 for another pre-trial hearing.

Prosecutors have been investigating Metzger’s death for two years.

Officials said his suicide note, which began with the words “maybe she was right,” as well as posts on his Facebook page, described the “trail of torment and temptation” he allegedly walked through Reusch. In a press release, prosecutors also called the messages she sent Metzger “horrifying and graphic.”

Court documents refer to Reusch as Metzger’s on-again/off-again girlfriend. The couple previously lived together in Irwin, Pennsylvania.

At a press conference, trooper Steve Limani called the “bullying” Metzger endured as some of the worst he’s ever seen.

“This is the next level or the most extreme form of bullying that I’ve seen, read about, heard about, where someone is constantly telling someone to end their life,” Limani said.

“You’re talking about the three biggest triggers you can have when you make someone feel horrible,” he added.

In a separate interview with CBS-Pittsburgh, DiLucente said, “My God, if we’re going to prosecute people for sending hard texts to each other instead of communicating it verbally, we’re on a different path in our justice system.”
