Have you ever wondered how you would fare next to the queen or perhaps a future king?

Look no further, as The Mail’s new Royals section has compiled a list of the heights of some of the most well-known figures of the British royal family.

It’s safe to say there’s quite a bit of variety, with Prince William and Prince Harry standing over six feet tall. Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie are on the other side of the scale.

Here’s how the Royal Family ranks over three generations, from the late Queen Elizabeth to her grandchildren.

1. Queen Elizabeth (5’4)

Although the head of the family, the late Queen Elizabeth was not the tallest.

Standing at only 5’3, she was dwarfed by many other Royals, including her grandsons. Even her great-grandson, George, seemed to be catching up in later years.

However, the Queen still knew how to make an entrance and was noticed by all.

Partly this was due to her iconic, carefully chosen and brightly colored outfits that made her stand out from the crowd.

2. Princess Beatrice (5’4)

Princess Beatrice is the smallest of the current Royals and has more in common with the late Queen than with her tall cousins, William and Harry.

Luckily for the princess, this meant she was able to borrow Norman Hartnell’s vintage gown that the Queen wore to her wedding to Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.

3. Princess Eugenie (5’5)

Although she is the youngest of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, at 5’5, Princess Eugenie is an inch taller than her older sister Beatrice.

4. Meghan Markle (5’6)

Although the Duchess of Sussex is four inches taller than the average woman in the UK, she is still one of the shortest members of the royal family.

There is a notable height difference with her 6’2″ husband, Harry.

5.Zara Tindall (5’6)

Zara Tindall is the same height as her mother at 5’6 tall. This is helpful for her rider, as it is better for riders to be medium or shorter height than tall.

6. Princess Anne (5’6)

Like her daughter, the Princess Royal is above average height for the UK – but no more than average for the Royal Family. But with good natural posture and posture, she still cuts an elegant figure.

7. Queen Camilla (5’8)

Queen Camilla is almost as tall as her husband, but just short enough that she can get away without heels when standing next to Charles.

8.Sarah Ferguson (5’8)

Sarah Ferguson, Prince Andrew’s former wife, is notably taller than her daughters, Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice.

9. Kate Middleton, Princess of Wales (5’9)

The Princess of Wales is one of the tallest women in the royal family, making her the perfect match for William. Despite her height, Kate likes to wear heels and acts gracefully while doing so.

10. Princess Diana (5’10)

Princess Diana knew how to impress every time she walked into a room. At 5 feet 10 inches, she was taller than most women, including those of the royal family.

11. King Charles (5’10)

His Majesty is taller than his current wife, Queen Camilla, but was the same height as his first wife, Diana. Diana sometimes avoided heels and tried to find ways to make herself look smaller when she was next to her ex-husband.

12. Prince Philip (6′)

Standing about 6 feet 10 inches, Prince Philip towered over his wife, Queen Elizabeth. It’s no surprise that the majority of men in the royal family have “tall” genes

14. Prince Andrew (6′)

15.Peter Phillips (6′)

The average height for a man in the UK is about 5’10, Peter Phillips, son of Princess Anne, is five inches taller.

16. Prince Harry (6’2)

Even though he stands at a towering 6’2″, Harry is still an inch shorter than his brother. There is height on both sides of the family, the Windsors and the Spencers.

17. Prince William (6’3)

William is officially the tallest member of the royal family at 6’3″. But some speculate that his eldest son, Prince George, will one day outgrow even this massive height!
