The woman was six months pregnant when disaster struck and was seriously injured.

The horror hit-and-run took place on February 18 at 7.24pm on Hill Top.

Police later arrested a 25-year-old man on suspicion of causing serious injury by endangerment the drivingHowever, he was released while officers continued to investigate the impact.

West Midlands Police are now appealing for any witnesses who may have seen or have images of two cars to come forward.

Pc John Williams, traffic investigator, said today: “We are appealing for witnesses who may have a BMW 1 series car and a Audi TT near Tildasley Street and Old Meeting Street Aldi at approximately 7:22 pm on February 18 or at the intersection of Old Meeting Street and New Swan Street.

“I am interested in hearing from anyone who witnessed the vehicles waiting at the traffic lights and whose attention may have been drawn to them.

“We would like to hear from anyone with dashcam footage or anyone with any information to contact us.”
