Travis Kelce throws up Taylor Swift's iconic hand heart after TD
Travis Kelce celebrated the Kansas City Chiefs' first touchdown on Sunday, January 21, with Taylor Swift's iconic hand heart.
The tight end, 34, was seen blowing kisses and making a heart with his hands while being girlfriend Taylor Swift watched from his family suite at Highmark Stadium. Swift, 34, watched the Chiefs take on the Buffalo Bills with Travis' family members: Mom Donna Kelcedad Ed Kelcebrother Jason Kelce and sister-in-law Kylie Kelce.
Although Swift didn't invent the loving gesture, she is known for making the symbol during her performances.
“The heart-hand symbol means something between 'I love you' and 'thank you,'” Swift said The New York Times in 2011. “It's just a sweet, simple message that you can convey without saying a word.”

She continued, “At the end of my sophomore year, I left school and went on a radio tour playing free show after free show. I was an unknown act playing shows night after night and I was constantly trying out all kinds of different moves to get a reaction from the crowd.
Travis' celebration on Sunday was more subdued than his brother's. Jason, 36, ripped off his shirt and was seen climbing into the stands after the touchdown.
The Chiefs play a playoff game against the Bills. Whichever team wins will play in the AFC Championship, while the losing team is done for the season.
Jason was chilling with a beer in the suite by the time Chiefs landed the next touchdown. He remained shirtless, but he did add a hat to stay warm. Swift was seen embracing friend Brittany Mahomes after the second TD.
Travis made it clear before he started dating Swift that he was a big fan. They met after he publicly complained about not being able to give her a friendship bracelet when the Eras Tour stopped at Arrowhead Stadium in July 2023.
“Well, I was disappointed that she doesn't talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs she sings,” Travis shared on their “New Heights” podcast. “So I was a little disappointed, I couldn't give her one of the bracelets I made for her.”
Swift appealed to his progressiveness in her TIME Person of the Year job interview last month. “This all started when Travis adorably confused me on his podcast, which I thought was metal as hell,” she teased, adding that they “started hanging out right afterward.”
Danny Frye III, Swift's cousin, recently claimed responsibility for connecting the lovebirds. “The funny thing is that a lot of people have been trying to figure out who I am lately. It's been an interesting month or so [and] I've been to a few Chiefs games,” he told FloRacing TV in an interview on Saturday, January 13. “You know, [I] made a love connection between her and Travis Kelce, so it's been 34 years [Taylor and I have] had together.”
