Users cannot post tweets

Twitter users were unable to post their tweets from numerous devices and platforms, including iPhone, Android, Blackberry or Windows Phone devices and traditional computers.

Several users in the UK are currently experiencing the issues while using the social media platform.

One user said that the platform repeatedly throws the error “unable to retrieve tweets”. Notably, this is the third time this year that the Elon Musk-led platform suffered such an outage.

More than 4,000 users are expressing concern

Down Detector that tracks the disruptions of the online services stated that about 4,000 users have complained about problems with the functioning of Twitter. However, the company has not yet released a statement about the outages.

Shortly after Twitter went down, #TwitterDown started trending in India within minutes and users reported getting a ‘speed limit exceeded’ message on their For You page.

A user who received this message said, “Dear Twitter, I have no rate limit because there is no rate limit – find this out NOW!”

The latest issue with Twitter comes after a major outage on the platform in March, shortly after the company’s most recent round of layoffs.

However, it is not clear what caused the problems and how long they will last. And the company has yet to comment on the matter.
