TWO teenagers have been charged with the murder of two teenage boys who were stabbed to death as they walked home.

15-year-old Mason Rist and 16-year-old Max Dixon were tragically stabbed on the street in Bristol on Saturday.

Yesterday, police revealed that 44-year-old Anthony Snook had been charged with murder.

Now two boys, aged 15 and 16, have also been charged and will appear at Bristol Youth Court tomorrow.

Detectives have also charged two men with assisting an offender.

Bailey Westcott, 22, and Jamie Ogbourne, 26, will appear at Bristol Magistrates' Court tomorrow.

A heartbreaking vigil was held for the friends yesterday.

Max's mother Leanne told mourners: “It's not just me and my three beautiful girls who are suffering, the whole community, the whole family, is suffering.

“I lost my son and I will never see that child again. I don't want anyone else to go through what I'm going through, and what Mason's mother is going through.”

“Check the children's bags and children's phones,” she added.

Talented footballer Max and boyfriend Mason were attacked by a group who fled the scene in a car on Saturday evening.

Tributes poured in for the couple, who died in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Max's sister Kayleigh paid tribute to her brother Facebook immediately heartbreaking photo.

She wrote: “You are sleeping well. A beautiful, kind soul is gone. Just turned 16 so young and innocent, oh my heart is broken.

“I really hope you know how much we love you. How much I love you.

A statement from Avon and Somerset Police said: “The Major Crime Investigation Team has charged two teenage boys with the murders of Mason Rist and Max Dixon.

“The boys, one aged 15 and the other aged 16, remain in police custody and will appear before Bristol Youth Court tomorrow (Friday 2 January).

The statement added: “In addition to the murder charge, detectives have also charged two men with assisting an offender.

“Bailey Westcott, 22, of Bishopsworth, Bristol, and Jamie Ogbourne, 26, of Hartcliffe, Bristol, will appear at Bristol Magistrates' Court tomorrow.”
