“I completely forgot about the other two cards,” Kevin said.

Each ticket was worth an eye-watering £403,638. So while one ticket in itself was a big win, the lucky Brit could have lost more than £800,000.

When he finally remembered, the total value of all three of his tickets earned him an impressive £1.2 million.

Kevin was the only one with the exact winning zip code and after buying three tickets he became the winner of the biggest prize of the Postcode Lottery.

The Brit has since revealed he plans to use his newfound wealth to move into a caravan in Sunny Haven Park.

“I've been dreaming about the chalets for a long time,” he said.

“Every time I pass by, I imagine myself living there. It's nice and quiet and I'm sure the people would be very friendly.

“I've always loved my garden and since I've been here I haven't had one anymore. That would give me another garden. Now my dream can come true.”

Although Kevin has said he will spend some of his winnings on watching the British Grand Prix and buying a new motorcycle, he has vowed to spend the majority of it on caring for his family.

Kevin is the father of two sons aged 26 and 24 and has a 30-year-old daughter who is pregnant with his fourth grandchild.

He said: 'I will take advice and put some money in trust for them.

“I also want to help my brother with some house improvements.

“My brother has always been there for me. He is a rock for me.”

The family man revealed that his stepfather, John Davies, 79, had called him the night before and claimed he knew he would win a big prize, despite Kevin saying the maximum prize he could win was £2,000.

“My dad said to me yesterday, 'Buy a Bentley and show it off,'” Kevin explained.

He added: “I said, 'I'm only going to get a thousand dollars, a father or a few thousand at most'. But he said, 'now it's your turn.'”

Kevin claims his stepfather is usually right, saying he might now “rent a Bentley and take it out.”

The news comes after a mother who won thousands of dollars in the People's Postcode Lottery says she can now resolve a decade-long feud with her husband.

And this couple who won £100,000 claim they were just days away from making a terrible decision that would have left them without anything.
