New Delhi: Smartphone maker vivo announced on Thursday the launch of the new ‘Y36’ smartphone in the country, which is equipped with a 50 MP camera, 5000 mAh battery and more. vivo Y36 is priced at Rs 16,999 for the 8GB + 128GB variant and will be available for purchase through Flipkart, vivo India e-store and all partner stores, the company said in a statement.
The new smartphone is available in two colors: Vibrant Gold and Meteor Black. On the back, the device has a ‘Dynamic Dual Ring’ design for the camera module, which shows a rainbow-like texture under sunlight. In addition, it features a fingerprint scanner on the side for quick unlocking and security.
On the front, the new phone has a high quality 6.64-inch FHD+ display that delivers vibrant colors and an immersive viewing experience. “With a high refresh rate of 90 Hz, a touch frequency of 240 Hz and 16.7 million colors, the screen offers a great visual experience for content consumption,” the company said.
In addition, the Y36 has a sunlight-readable screen, making the smartphone easier to use even in bright sunlight. It features a 50 MP portrait camera and a 2 MP bokeh camera. It also features a 16 MP front camera with Aura Screen lighting. The vivo Y36 is also powered by the Snapdragon 680 processor, a 6nm chipset clocking up to 2.4GHz.
