TWO years ago Putin invaded Ukraine.
Two years later we know what this means. Torture. Mass executions. Children kidnapped. Millions uprooted.
A country trying to eradicate another country.
The invasion was completely unprovoked. But Putin miscalculated. He did not expect Ukraine’s stubborn resistance.
He also didn’t expect his army to fail him so badly.
And he didn’t expect the West to watch Ukraine. Still, Putin believes he can still pull off a victory.
He believes he can outlive us. Our job is to prove him wrong.
The Ukrainian supporters carry more weight Russia economically by about 25 to one.
We just have to assert that power.
Here are five priorities for all friends of Ukraine.
First, finances. Second, equipment and ammunition. Third, training. Fourth, addressing sanctions circumvention.
Finally seize frozen Russian possessions.
Ukraine’s struggle is our struggle. We help them defend their homeland. But they help defend ours.
We must assist them. As long as it lasts. Slava Ukraine.
