West Bengal Exams 2024: The timings for the second and higher secondary examination under the West Bengal administration will be changed from this year. Both the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) and the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) made the announcement in two separate notifications. “I have been directed to bring to your notice an important update regarding the Madhyamik Pariksha (SE). , schedule 2024. After careful consideration and in response to various factors, it has been decided to reschedule the exam timing for Madhyamik Pariksha (SE), 2024,” WBBSE Secretary Subrata Ghosh said in an official notification.

West Bengal Madhyamik Pariksha Board Secondary Examination 2024: Secondary exam timings to be changed from this year

1. In this context the following scheme should be followed. The officer in charge and the center secretary will initiate this process on the days of examination by reaching the custodians before 6:00 am. After collecting the boxes of question papers, they leave along with police escorts from the custodian, distribute the boxes of question papers meant for the exam venues under their jurisdiction and then reach their center at 8:00 am.
2. At the research locations, the presence of police personnel is necessary from 6:00 am, together with the location supervisor (usually de Hol) and the additional location supervisor, who receives the earmarked boxes with question paper, where the responsible officer and the secretary of the center can reach.
3. The seconded health staff should be present at their respective examination center/site by 8:15 am.
4. Students will begin entering the center/location at 8:30 am.
5. From 8:00 AM, teachers and non-teaching staff must reach the examination center/venue.

To ensure the integrity and security of the examinations, the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) will conduct the Madhyamik Pariksha (Secondary Examination) 2024 under strict surveillance of CCTV cameras at the examination centre/venue. The board has made it clear that the images should remain in the custody of the head of the concerned institution/center secretary, who will be responsible for their safekeeping and availability if required.
