Whitney Cummings is a pro at multitasking.
The 41-year-old comedian got to work TikTok on Thursday, Jan. 25, to show off her hair curling skills while cradling her 1-month-old son. “Curling your hair with the child on your sternum,” she said in the clip as she wrapped strands of hair around the tool.
As she continued to style her locks, Cummings assured her baby would not be harmed in the process. “I don't let the heat get to him,” she said, explaining that he “didn't even wake up” during her beauty routine.
Anticipating the response from mom-shamers, Cummings joked that “childcare” was on its way to her house. “Illegal or just frowned upon?” she captioned the post, which drew mixed reactions from fans.
'Mom, you're doing well! multi-tasking queen 👏👏,” one follower wrote while another expressed concern about Cummings possibly dropping the iron on her son's head. “Least protect his head if you accidentally fall,” the social media user noted.

Thursday's video comes after Cummings shared a different — and relatable — motherhood moment earlier this month.
In a hilarious clip, she shared via Instagram, Cummings accidentally spilled (cold) soup on her son's head. After trying to eat her meal with her son strapped to her chest, food from her spoon dripped onto his head. Laughing, she licked the soup off his head and continued eating.
“Waited 20 minutes for nothing for this soup to cool… seriously, how do I eat with a baby, guys,” she captioned the post. Friend Olivia Munn joked in her comments section that she had to “put the baby down.”
Cummings welcomed her son in December 2023. While she didn't reveal the baby's father or name, she shared an adorable snap of his hand pressed against her chest.
