Elaine Fyffe
Politician George Galloway has been married four times, with her first wife being Elaine Fyffe.
The couple were teenage sweethearts before marrying in 1979.
During their relationship they had one daughter together.
They separated in 1987 and divorced in 1999.
Dr. Amineh Abu-Zayyad

Microbiologist Dr. Abu-Zayyad is of Palestinian descent and was born in Jerusalem in 1969.
The pair first met at a political meeting in Glasgow in 1991 and they worked as a lecturer at the University of Glasgow.
She later described Galloway as “my hero” and had “done so much for the Palestinians”.
The then MP described her as the “voice of absolute calm in my life”.
They married in 1994 in a non-legally binding Islamic ceremony.
The couple held a legally binding civil ceremony in Lambeth in March 2000.
In February 2009, Dr. Abu-Zayyad divorced after several years of estrangement on the grounds of “unreasonable behavior”.
The request was not contested.

Lebanese Husseini married Galloway in an Islamic ceremony in 2007.
They met when she was his researcher, and together they had two children.
However, it was not to be and they divorced five years too late

Galloway married his current wife in an Islamic ceremony on March 31, 2012 Amsterdam.
Dutch-born Pertiwi with Indonesian descent studied cultural anthropology at the University of Utrecht.
They met when she helped with his charity Viva Palestina.
The first ceremony was followed by a traditional Javanese ceremony in Sumatra and a civil ceremony in the House of Commons in September 2012.
Pertiwi works as a consultant for a Dutch research agency and as co-presenter of Galloway’s TV program Sputnik.
They have three children together.
How many children does he have?
Galloway’s first wife Fyffe gave birth to his first daughter Lucy in 1982.
He had two sons with his third wife Husseini – Zein was born in 2007 and Faris in 2011.
Galloway has three children with his fourth wife Pertiwi.
A son, Toren Mustaqim, was born in July 2014; a daughter Orla Dhien was born in 2017.
After the birth of his fifth child, he said: “It used to be the tradition of Irish Catholic immigrants to have six children, so I won’t stop there.
“As long as God gives me breath and energy, there will be more. It’s the best thing that ever happened to me.
“Nothing keeps you as young as your children climbing over your face in the morning to wake you up. It is life-enhancing.”
Another daughter Oban Amaria was born in August 2020.
After the birth of his sixth child, Galloway tweeted: “We are thrilled to announce the natural home birth of our third child, a girl, at 1:41am.
“Mother and baby are both doing well. Photos later! She has three brothers and two sisters by the grace of God. Huge thanks to the truly wonderful midwives Karen and Lucy.”
