India are the frontrunners to take home the World Cup title after not losing a single match in the competition so far. Several Bollywood celebrities like Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor and many more arrive at Ahmedabad airport to watch the match live.

Deepika Padukone turned heads with her chic look in blue jersey, denim and white sneakers. She was spotted at Kalina’s private airport on Sunday morning with her father, former Indian badminton player Prakash Padukone. Ranveer Singh, on the other hand, looked very cool in an orange practice shirt for the team with a white and blue jacket.

Besides Bollywood celebrities, we also saw former cricketers Sachin Tendulkar and Kapil Dev leaving the airport for the match. Dignitaries such as Australian Deputy Prime Minister Richard Marles and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi are reportedly planning to attend the World Cup final at the famous stadium, which can accommodate 132,000 fans.

India won their first cup in 1983 under the leadership of Kapil Dev. ‘83, a film on the breathtaking competition, was released in 2021, with Ranveer Singh essaying the role of Kapil Dev. Team India won its second World Cup in 2011.
