My date took me to his friend's jiu-jitsu tournament, things got worse from there

A SECOND date went wrong after she was taken to a jiu-jitsu tournament.

The night out turned out to be much more than she expected, causing her to leave early.

Viv (@vivlaughloves), 25, filmed herself talking about the ordeal in a video on TikTok.

“I just had the worst second date I've ever been on,” she said.

She added that the first date went smoothly, making her eager to see him again.

“It went really well. We went for drinks, and then we went to the park, and then we walked his dog and had pizza, and it was great,” she said.

“And then he asks me to go out again tonight. We're supposed to go. Well, he wanted to do something more elaborate, but I was really tired this week, so I thought, can we do something chill?” ?

“So we would go for a walk and have a picnic, and I would watch the sunset in the evening. That was his idea.

“And I get to his place where we're going to walk, and he says, 'So my friend is in this tournament for Brazilian jiu-jitsu, and he's fighting in it. Do you want to go watch him?'” she said.

She said that even though she didn't really want to go, she agreed because she didn't think it would take too long.

“So we get there, and he pays $45 for both of us. And I'm sitting there and his friends keep showing up,” she said.

“So it's him and me and then three of his friends, and I introduce myself, but it's weird. And then I don't know why, I just feel panicked at this point.

“I feel uncomfortable and I'm like, 'So how long is this going to last?' He said, 'Oh, I think it should be until 10 o'clock,'” she said.

She told him she wouldn't be staying until ten and excused herself after panicking to the bathroom.

“I call my best friend, I start crying on the phone, and then she helps me with my anxiety. And then I go back in and I'm like, It's okay. We'll probably do something afterward. It's fine, ” she said.

“So I sit down, I'm talking to him, and I'm thinking, 'Can we go to my favorite restaurant after this? It's just not far away.'

“And he says, 'Oh, I told the guys I was going to the gym with them at 10 p.m.'

“So I said, 'Are you going to the gym tonight at 10 p.m.? And he says, 'Yeah, they just added me to the group chat and I have to go. I just committed to it.'

The outing ended for Viv at 8pm when she told her 31-year-old date that she could no longer stay.

“Honestly, I'm still baffled,” she added. “Don't ask me why I started crying while I was there, I don't know.”
