Tales of Arise is coming to both major subscription services

Despite the already excellent lineup, Xbox had one more surprise for its owners.

Another game is coming to Xbox Game Pass Tuesday February 20, 2024bringing the total to nine.

Tales of Arise is a hugely popular JRPG that has a huge score of 87 on the aggregated review site Metacritic.

Unusually, Tales of Arise is also coming to PlayStation Plus Extra on the same day, rather than exclusive to one service.

The blurb reads: “300 years of tyranny. A mysterious mask. Lost pain and memories.

“Use the Blazing Sword and join forces with a mysterious, untouchable girl to fight against your oppressors.

“Experience a liberation story, with characters with next-generation graphic expressiveness!”

Tales of Arise is the latest release in the long-running series that has been running since 1995.

It was released in 2021 and was critically acclaimed by fans and critics alike who were desperate to play after five years without a new entry.

You can play Tales of Arise whether you're an Xbox or PlayStation fan, but there's an added incentive to play on PlayStation.

Not only is Tales of Arise coming to PS Plus in February, but Tales of Zestiria, Tales of Vesperia and Tales of Symphonia are also participating.

Those who only subscribe to Xbox Game Pass can still enjoy the latest Tales game with their subscription.
