In terms of number of titles shown, PlayStation's State of Play was the clear winner with 18 games, compared to Xbox's Developer_Direct's 5.

Four of these five were Xbox exclusive titles, and most PlayStation games were also exclusive.

There was one game from each showcase that stood out and was talked about for weeks.

For Xbox this was Indiana Jones and The Great Circle, which surprised fans with how impressive it looked.

The mix of third-person cutscenes and first-person action is quite unique, and there were plenty of nods to the popular indie films.

It was clear that the team was passionate about the popular IP, and it looks like the game is in safe hands at MachineGames.

PlayStation's standout title was Hideo Kojima's Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, and we got an in-depth look at the video game author's upcoming project.

It had all the hallmarks we expect from a Kojima game, with new and interesting ideas and exciting set pieces.

From the stop-motion puppet to the extra pair of hands worn as a necklace, people can't wait to see what else will shock them.

Both games have fans excited and players eager to see what exactly is to come.

However, some other games in Xbox's lineup were also very strong, including Ara: A History Untold and Hellblade 2: Senua's Saga.

Fans were also excited by what was shown in these games, with stunning graphics and gameplay reveals.

PlayStation also had some exciting games like Stellar Blade and Rise of the Ronin.

However, other games like Silent Hill 2 disappointed fans with lackluster gameplay.
