2024 Kia Sonet facelift: Kia Motors on Friday launched the 2024 Sonet at an introductory price of Rs 7.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The compact SUV offers a choice of 19 variants with prices ranging from Rs 7.99 lakh to Rs 15.69 lakh. The updated Sonet features a fresh front fascia, an updated interior with a larger digital instrument cluster and a Level 1 ADAS suite. Kia has also improved the safety of the 2024 Sonet with the facelift.
2024 Kia Sonet exterior
The updated 2024 Kia Sonet has undergone a few changes to its appearance. Modifications on display include a revised front fascia with a redesigned bumper, headlights, fog lights and daytime running lights. The rear also received a facelift, which is reflected in the brand new connected taillight design. In addition, the updated SUV is equipped with a fresh, stylish alloy wheel design.
2024 Kia Sonet Safety Features
Updated safety features now include six airbags as standard. Dual front airbags, front side airbags and side curtain airbags are also included.
The car also comes with Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Brake Force Assist System, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Vehicle Stability Management (VSM), Hill-Start Assist Control (HAC) and Emergency Stop Signal.
Additional safety features include three-point seat belts (front and rear of all seats), seat belt reminder (front and rear of all seats), automatic door locking with speed detection, automatic door unlocking with impact detection, rear parking sensors and Highline tire pressure monitoring.
It also comes with advanced safety features like ADAS to enhance the safety of this SUV, making it safer for occupants, other vehicles, and pedestrians.

2024 Kia Sonet Powertrain, Engine Details
- The Sonet facelift offers three engine options.
- The first engine option is a 1.2-liter petrol engine with 83 hp and a five-speed manual gearbox.
- The second engine option is a 120 hp turbo petrol engine.
- The third engine option is a 1.5-liter diesel engine with 116 hp.
- The turbo petrol and diesel engines come with a 6-speed iMT and the diesel variant now also has a 6-speed manual gearbox.
