Child is rushed to the hospital after life -threatening injuries – while the police are descending at the house in the suburbs

A young child was taken to the hospital after life -threatening injuries in a house Queensland‘s Western Downs region.

Police and paramedics were called to a house in Arthur Street in Dalby on Friday around 11 am.

The child was assessed by paramedics in the house before being brought to the Dalby Hospital in critical condition.

The normally quiet street has since been flooded with police vehicles.

The Queensland police have started an investigation into the incident.
