Amad Diallo was the target of serious personal abuse of one Manchester United to get used to MalaysiaMail Sport can reveal.
A photo of Amad went viral after the 1-0 defeat against the Asean All-Star team in Kuala Lumpar, where the Ivorian is photographed and raises his middle finger.
There had been some suggestions online that it was linked to his name and desire for people who do not use ‘Diallo’ as a reference point.
The United Star has since confirmed that he has received personal abuse with regard to his mother.
“I respect people, but not for those who insult my mother …” he said Twitter.
‘I shouldn’t have responded that way, but I don’t regret what I did.
“We had a great time in Malaysia with good people.”
He was later seen posing with a few fans in a lift, while Garnacho showed the same gesture. However, it is assumed that it was playful of that photo.
