Arsenal had started clearly in the second stage when they wanted to destroy a 1-0 deficit of the first leg.
PSG goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma produced several fine rescues in the early stages to ward Arsenal, before the French side took control of the second stage about the effort of Fabian Ruiz remotely.

The role of Pitey in both PSG goals in the night contributed to his low rating with scoring of Ruiz after his main statement for the first, before he was beaten by Ousmane Dembele for the efforts of Achraf Hakimi.
