I finished the rest of the #deptQ episodies last night. I can’t say enough about how good the performance of Goode is in this. I think this show with a better general mystery can be one of the best. The end was emotional and I can’t wait for another season. pic.twitter.com/dldtlnp0tMay 31, 2025
Although we don’t have a word at the moment Department QThe future, it would certainly be nice to see returning to one of the Best streaming services. I have always been a big fan of police dramas, most recently the excellent BBC series Dutyand one of his stars, Kelly MacDonald, appears in it Department Q also.
She joins a brilliant cast next to Goode, Mark Bonnar, Jamie Sives, Shirley Henderson and Kate Dickie, whose performances really elevate this sandy, nail biting drama.
The series follows the establishment of a new police unit, a division in a cold case was “hoping to generate a good press for a besieged police of Edinburgh.”
It was made by Scott Frank, who co-made the brilliant Netflix show The queen’s gambleAnd it is safe to say that he has done it here again.
Although the two shows are very different, he absolutely glued people on their television sets, and we can only hope so Department Q Comes back for another round.
