Abbie Chatfield has claimed that hosting a radio show caused her to become depressed.

The media personality, 28, took to her Instagram Stories on Wednesday to update her fans on her recently improved mental state.

“Now that I'm not doing radio anymore (thank f***) and I'm actually happy and not depressed, get ready for OG Abbie content again,” she said in the video.

“I'm just posting all the time, all my thoughts. Because I'm single, I no longer have night work. I'm ready. I'm eating frozen grapes on the couch and posting.”

The podcaster then said she will be doing more political commentary and returning to “Covid Abbie” now that she no longer has a radio career.

The Masked Singer judge also said she wanted to make room for newcomers to the radio industry to have a seat at the table.

“It's also time to give someone else an opportunity who would value and appreciate this opportunity more than myself. I have so much on, and daily radio takes up so much of my time. “I just wasn't having a good time in that environment every day,” she said.

Abbie emphasized that it was solely her decision to end the show and insisted that her podcast would still be hosted by the network.
