Actor Nick Pasqual is extradited to California to face charges for ‘stabbing makeup artist girlfriend Allie Shehorn more than 20 times’ then attempting to flee to Mexico
The Hollywood actor who was caught trying to flee to Mexico after allegedly stabbing his make-up artist girlfriend more than 20 times has been extradited back to California.
Nicholas Pasqual, 34, had been beaten in the Hudspeth County Jail in tiny Sierra Blanca, Texas, after being apprehended late last month while trying to enter Chihuahua over the Fort Hancock International Bridge.
Now DailyMail.com can reveal he flew back to LA on Wednesday night, landing at 8pm, and has subsequently been indicted on charges of attempted murder, burglary and domestic violence.
The charges, which are all felonies, stem from the horror attack on Hollywood make-up artist Allie Shehorn, 35, in the early hours of May 23.
Pasqual, who appeared in the sitcom How I Met Your Mother, is also charged in connection with another attack on Shehorn three days prior to the stabbing that led to her filing for a restraining order against him after he allegedly hit her head on the floor of their house had hit. .

A spokeswoman for LA District Attorney George Gascon praised the extradition, telling DailyMail.com: “Nick Pasqual was extradited from Texas and arrived at LAX on Wednesday, June 12 at 8 p.m. He was transported/booked.
“Yesterday, Thursday, June 13, Pasqual was arraigned at Section S of the San Fernando Courthouse. He is being held without bail.”
The actor now faces a preliminary hearing in the case on July 16 and will remain incarcerated at the LAPD’s Valley Jail until then.
Pasqual was brought back to LA from Sierra Blanca, a town with just 315 residents according to the 2020 census, which is 26 miles from the Mexican border.
Under-fire prosecutor Gascon has vowed to vigorously prosecute the case, labeling the brutal attack as ‘heinous’ after news of the incident emerged two weeks ago.
He said: “This horrific incident is a stark reminder of the dangers of domestic violence. We will ensure that the person responsible for this egregious act is held accountable for their actions.”
Shehorn, a successful make-up artist, is still recovering from the attack in hospital but is making progress and has been moved from intensive care.

Pasqual, who also appeared in the 2018 Hallmark film Another Tango, is charged in multiple attacks on Shehorn, including one three days prior to the stabbing.
He was flown back to California on Wednesday after being apprehended late last month while trying to cross Chihuahua on the Fort Hancock International Bridge.
Close friend Jed Dornoff explained, “It became a reality. Allie does her best to stay positive, but the battle is tough.
“There are complications that we cannot release to the public at this time. But she is feeling better and appreciates the love and support.”
Since news of the horror attack broke, donations for Shehorn have been pouring in. To date, more than $112,000 has been raised for her care.
DailyMail.com previously revealed Shehorn was abused by Pasqual for months and took out a restraining order against him on May 18 after an incident in which he slammed her head into the floor and tried to break down a door in their Sunland home.
According to the makeup artist, on that occasion around 3 a.m., Pasqual became angry “and started yelling and screaming at me, which happens when he is under the influence.”
She continued: ‘He punched me in the face and as I was trying to get away down the corridor he grabbed my hair and pulled me back and I hit the ground and hit the back of my head on the floor.’
Shehorn says she tried to hide in the bedroom of “surrogate mother” Christine White, 62, who shared the former couple’s home and was the one who found Shehorn “bleeding” after the stabbing.
Pasqual then allegedly tried to smash the door and when she opened it, he pushed it into her, causing her to fall to the ground and hit her head again.
According to Shehorn, the incident left her with a concussion, while Pasqual threatened White as she called 911.

Although Pasqual was arrested and charged with domestic violence according to LAPD booking records, he was able to get out of jail the same day, leaving him free to attack Shehorn again three days later.
According to Shehorn’s application for a restraining order, Pasqual also allegedly assaulted her on a number of other occasions: beating her with a belt on January 29, breaking down several doors in their home on March 6 and raping and strangling her on April 14.
Shehorn added: ‘He has been violent in the past but never physically with me apart from two nights where he ripped clothes off me.’
In the filing, the special effects makeup artist also asked for protection for White as well as the couple’s white husky mix dog Riley.
A hearing on whether the temporary restraining order should be made permanent was scheduled for June 11 in Pasadena, while Pasqual was scheduled to appear in court on June 12 on a misdemeanor charge in San Fernando — dates he missed because he was incarcerated in Texas.
