This is the adorable moment when a young football fan with a visual impairment received a letter written in Braille from his ‘hero’ Jack Grealish.

Ralph Mullineaux, 10, from Cornwall, wrote a fan letter to the Manchester City star earlier this year.

The aspiring athlete — who appeared in a guide dog ad earlier this year — told Jack how much he appreciates using his platform to raise awareness for disabilities.

The football star has previously spoken about his close relationship with his younger sister Hollie – who has cerebral palsy and, like Ralph, struggles with her eyesight.

Earlier this week, Ralph received a response to his letter from Grealish written in Braille.

Footage posted to his Instagram account, which is run by his mother Georgina, shows the Manchester City fan opening the package in the living room at home.

The elementary school teacher handed the package to Ralph and said, “There’s something in the mail for you.”

At the time, the avid football fan – who has been selected for the England Para Football VI Pathway program – was watching a match on Sky Sports and wearing his Man City kit.

After taking the top off, it took a few seconds for a stunned Ralph – who even styles his hair like Jack – to see his hero’s signature on the front.

He looked at the top and said, ‘OH MY GOD! It’s Jack Grealish.”

The clip then jumps to the primary school student who has taken a closer look at the message.

His mother asked, “Is it a written letter?”

Ralph then replied, “Yes, it’s written in Braille.”

The clip ends with Ralph delivering Jack a message to say thank you for the thoughtful gesture,

He added: ‘I’d like to say a big thank you to Man City and Guide Dogs and I really enjoyed making the ad.’

His mother then captioned the message, “Thank you so much to the man of the moment, Jack Grealish, who sent Ralph a signed shirt and a personalized letter – written in Braille!

Grealish is Ralph’s hero. Ralph wears his hair like Jack so he can be just like him, and he even wanted to wear his hairband when he starred in the latest Guide Dogs ad.

“Ralph sent Jack a letter in braille telling him how great a role model he is. Since Ralph is visually impaired, he loves how Grealish understands disabilities and celebrates his sister who has cerebral palsy.

“Ralph was beyond excited to get a response from his favorite footballer and having it in Braille is so special. It’s so nice to see how inclusive and kind Jack and Manchester City can be.

NR.1: In the video, which was for Premier League Fanmail, Jack read out a letter from his young fan Finlay, who described him as his ‘idol’

“I honestly can’t believe how much has happened this year! Ralph was accepted onto the England Para Football VI Pathway programme, he starred in the Guide Dogs TV advert (which helped him so much) and then this. I am so proud of him.’

Last September, Jack opened up about his “close relationship” with his younger sister Hollie.

In the video, he also met his biggest fan Finlay, 11, after receiving a touching letter from the football fanatic, explaining his own struggle with cerebral palsy.

In the video, shot for Premier League Fanmail, Jack read a letter from his young fan Finlay, who described him as his ‘idol’.

The Manchester City player read the letter aloud, reading: ‘For Jack, my name is Finlay and I am 11 years old. I am a big fan of Man City and England. I have cerebral palsy and I saw that your sister also has cerebral palsy.

“I like the way you are really good with her, you really get it. You always have her with you and you look really proud, especially when we won the competition.’

While talking to the camera, Jack explained, “I’m so close with my little sister. Hollie is now 19, she was born three months early. They said she wouldn’t be able to talk, couldn’t walk and could do a lot of things, but here we are and she can do anything.

“Of course I love her so much, yes I think I’m a good big brother to her,” he laughed.

Finlay finished his letter: “I wish there were more people in the world who more like you treat people with disabilities the same way as everyone else.”
