AFL star Caleb Serong reveals intimate details about proposal to fiancée Chloe Furnari: ‘There were a fair few things organised’
AFL player Caleb Serong has revealed intimate details of the moment he got down on one knee and proposed to his girlfriend Chloe Furnari.
The Fremantle star, 23, popped the question earlier this week, and on Thursday the young couple made an appearance 92.9 Triple M’s Xav & Michelle.
In a heartwarming moment, Caleb revealed that he arranged for a personal chef to come to their home and cook them lunch.
“I arranged through some close friends to take Chloe out to dinner,” he said.
‘There was quite a bit of organizing behind the scenes; a chef who comes by to cook us lunch, balloons, flowers and candles.’

He continued, “Her family and my family had flown in the day before, which she didn’t know about.”
Caleb went on to say that everything was set up so that once Chloe arrived and walked in, “it was pretty clear what was going on.”
Chloe admitted she had her suspicions that the big question would come ahead of the engagement, but the Pilates instructor was still in complete shock that day.

The Doig Medalist and his love shared their good news on Instagram on Tuesday, along with two stunning photos of the happy couple.
In the first image, Chloe looks equally happy as she waves her dazzling engagement ring as she poses with her handsome fiancé.
In a second image, the genetically blessed lovebirds are seen tenderly embracing each other before captioning the post with some touching words.
In a heartwarming moment, Caleb revealed that he arranged for a personal chef to come to their home and prepare lunch for them just before their engagement.
“We are not only so excited, but so grateful to announce that we will be together forever,” the couple wrote.
“Caleb and I are so incredibly overwhelmed by the love and support we have already received from the beautiful people in our lives.
‘Thank you very much everyone for your beautiful words and love. We can’t wait for this next phase of our lives.”

Freemantle Dockers’ official Instagram also shared their congratulations in the comments section, writing “unreal.”
