Aldi Australia rereleases famous budget cast iron cookware range – and many claim it’s the same as popular French pots worth thousands
Aldi Australia has brought back its favorite cast iron range – and thousands of shoppers have compared the budget buys to French brand Le Creuset’s luxury pots worth thousands of pounds.
The retailer’s famous Crofton cookware collection has returned to the supermarket’s ‘Special Buys’ aisle from Saturday 8 June, until stocks last.
Australian home chefs have consistently sung its praises in the past, with many eager to get their hands on the restocked goods.
The cast iron collection includes coasters ($7.99), grill pans ($19.99), saucepans ($19.99), frying pans ($19.99), frying pans ($26.99), French Cookware ($34.99) and more.

Aldi’s famous Crofton range comes with a five-year warranty on all cookware, excluding coasters.
The range is available in a range of colours, including soft white, sage green and deep ocean blue.
Shoppers will be happy to discover that you can use the pans on all hobs, including gas, electric, glass ceramic and induction.
While other brands such as Le Creuset and Chasseur offer top quality products that will last for decades, Aldi’s affordable range still gives you durable cookware at a much lower price.
Aldi’s range is also aesthetically quite similar to Le Creuset’s popular collections – with both brands selling soft pastel colors that will suit any kitchen.
