Man rushed to hospital after paramedics find him with large knife sticking out of his hand
An alleged attack in Adelaide’s south has resulted in a man being rushed to hospital with a large knife still in his hand.
Emergency services rushed to Hamilton Rd at Aldinga Beach, south of Adelaide, about 12.40pm on Monday after reports of an attack.
South Australia Police and the South Australia Ambulance Service attended the man’s home and discovered a knife sticking out of his hand.
“Upon arrival, emergency services found a 48-year-old man at the address with a stab wound to his hand,” a statement from South Australia Police said.
“He was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.”

Footage from 9News shows the man being treated by paramedics as he lies on a stretcher with a large knife in his hand.
Witness Jayson Haywood told 9News the man was “pretty lucky” as it “looked like a big knife.”
“From what I’ve seen and talked to him, he seems like a good guy,” Mr. Haywood said of the victim.
“I’ve never heard or seen anything, except now.”
The SA Police investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers.
