Allison Mack Gets Parole After NXIVM Cult Scandal

Raniere, 62, for his part, was sentenced to 120 years behind bars in October 2020 after being convicted of seven felonies related to child sex trafficking, conspiracy and conspiracy to commit forced labour. At the time he told NBC news that he was “innocent” of his crimes.

Mack was initially sentenced to 17 years in prison, but she received a lighter sentence in exchange for testifying to prosecutors and helping with their case against Raniere.
