ANGE POSTECOGLOU has confirmed that Pedro Porro, Destiny Udogie and reserve goalkeeper Fraser Forster will be absent for their match against Wolves tomorrow.

Spurs' chances of pulling away from Gary O'Neil's in-form side by three points have declined dramatically after Postecoglou announced the worrying new injuries.

Both Porro at right-back and Udogie on the left flank are integral to the boss's playing style.

Postecoglou explained the injuries during a press conference: “Pedro Porro suffered from tension during training. Probably a few weeks before him.”

“Destiny Udogie took a hit, not too seriously. Match next weekend, should be back”.

“Fraser Forster – fracture in his foot, probably a few months”.

The loss of Forster, whose injury is the most serious, poses less of a threat as the goalkeeper has made just one appearance in the Carabao Cup all season.

Emerson Royal is likely to replace Porro at right-back, while Ben Davies could be on the left.

Spurs have undoubtedly had an unfortunate season when it comes to injuries.

£40m summer signing James Maddison has had a tough spell on the bench with an ankle injury and has only returned to full fitness in the last few games.

The same goes for Dejan Kulusevski, who suffered a hamstring injury in September.

Spurs also came under pressure from the Asia Cup, which robbed them of their absolutely crucial captain Son Heung-min.

And at the same time, the AFCON temporarily removed Pape Matar Sarr and Yves Bissouma.
