Ant McPartlin’s ex-wife Lisa Armstrong shared a post about karma just hours after his wife Anne-Marie Corbett stepped out ‘looking pregnant’.

On Wednesday, the couple’s former assistant, 45, was spotted in a loose dress as they prepared to fly from Heathrow to Dubai to ring in the new year.

It followed months of rumors they might have expected – especially after she decided not to fly to Australia to be by the 48-year-old TV legend’s side as he presented ITV’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Here away .

Lisa, who was married to Ant for 11 years before splitting in 2017, shared a post on Instagram that read: ‘2023 = 8. Eight in numerology represents Karma. This will be the year in which people get back what they have radiated.’

There was no clear indication of who the post was aimed at, but the message also comes in conjunction with her split from her boyfriend of three years, Sky electrician James Green, 40, earlier this year.

Anne-Marie is the former personal assistant of her current husband Ant. She began working closely with the TV star in 2017, but spent more than a decade working for the same company as Dec Donnelly’s wife Ali Astall in London.

There was no clear indication of who the post was aimed at, but the message also comes in conjunction with her split from her boyfriend of three years, Sky electrician James Green, 40, earlier this year.

Ant and Lisa had a rocky road to their bitter split, which took place amid his well-documented battle with substance abuse.

His struggles came to a head in 2017, when he checked into rehab after becoming addicted to prescription drugs following a devastating knee injury at the time.

He gave a candid interview at the time and admitted he had ‘let people down’, before thanking Lisa and co-star Declan Donnelly for their support.

His statement to the release read: “The first step is to admit to yourself that you need help. I’ve let people down. I am really sorry…

“I feel like I’ve let a lot of people down and I’m really sorry for that. I would like to thank my wife, family and best friends during this difficult time.

‘I spoke out because I believe it is important that people ask for help when they are going through a difficult time and receive the right treatment to aid their recovery.’

He subsequently split from Lisa, who he married in 2006, in December 2017, before it was revealed he was dating their former employee Anne-Marie.

The bitter divorce was officially finalized at London’s Central Family Court in October 2018, where Ant admitted adultery. In January 2020, it was reported that she received £31 million as part of a divorce settlement with her famous ex.

Ant was open about his desire to have children long before he and Anne married, but lamented that it was ‘harder than you think when you get a little older’

He married Anne-Marie, who has two children, in Hampshire in 2021.

In August, Lisa separated from her boyfriend, after which he left her house. A source close to the couple said the surprise split “came out of the blue.”

But a friend said the end of their three-year relationship had been amicable and the former couple would remain friends.

Lisa regularly posted selfies on Instagram of herself looking loved up with James, along with pictures of them enjoying a series of luxury holidays.

But following their split, she made no mention of James and instead posted photos of her 10-year-old Labrador, Hurley, with whom she spent the holidays – after sharing a Christmas card of her and the pup.

He subsequently split from Lisa, who he married in 2006, in December 2017 before it was revealed he was dating their former employee Anne-Marie Corbett (Ant and Anne-Marie at their 2021 wedding).
