Arsenal’s Michelle Agyemang insists that there is more of her to see with England

Surrealistic is how Michelle Agyemang described her turnout this year as a senior English international.

Last month the versatile Arsenal -Spits, 19, showed why Gunners and England -legend Kelly Smith show her as one of the “fearless” rising stars of the club.

Less than a minute in her senior debut let the English bait fly with a stunning volley who found his goals in a Nations League duel with Belgium.

“We still have the euros of the age of 19 (in June) and the senior euros

“It has been interesting to continue the different age groups and meet different players and coaches.

“But I think the path of England is so similar across the board, so it’s very easy to settle, regardless of where I am.”

Against Portugal at 7:45 PM Tonight, AGYEMANG hopes to get another chance to leave her mark and to help England return to winning ways in the Nations League.

If Spain loses from Belgium, a defeat of their opponents at Wembley Wiegman’s silk would see the top of their group.

The last experience of Agyemang near the field of Wembley was during the 4-0 defeat of England of Northern Ireland in a world cup qualification in October 2021.

She said: “I was 15 and was a ball girl. They had a few girls from (England’s) path. Beth Mead scored (a hat trick).”

And Agyemang hopes to be one of the players who are included in the 26-person group of Wiegman.

The Arsenal star added: “I would like to take things one by one.

“Coming here (to the camp of England), showing what I can do to might get to that plane, is now my first thought.”
